Of course if there was one thing that could be counted on, it was Ushijima’s blunt, total honesty. “Do you think Tendou is attracted to me?”
Reon froze. “T-Tendou?”
“Yes.”
Tendou was notoriously hard to read, but Reon kind of figured that he wasn’t the type to be anything less than painfully overt with romantic affections.
“I... I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I think if Tendou was attracted to you, he would let you know,” Reon said. “I'd guess he just considers you his best friend.” He hoped his answer would satisfy whatever frenzy the guy had worked himself into so Reon could finally take advantage of his last precious hours of sleep.
But instead, Ushijima visibly deflated in front of him. “Yes. That’s what I thought too,” he said miserably.

A low, content hum sounds next to his ear, and… god, it's like Sakusa's stiffness softens away and he melts into Atsumu, breath puffing across his neck.
"Better?" he asks, half jokingly and half strained.
Sakusa's other arm snakes behind his back, pulling, cradling him closer, and he sighs. "Much."
Good thing he's lying down, because that tone from Sakusa is enough to turn Atsumu's knees to jelly. "Glad t'hear that," he says dumbly.

Summary
Neither Kiyoomi nor Atsumu are strangers to casual sex. The reason for that is “a lack of emotional capacity,” as Kiyoomi would say, and Atsumu is “just really horny”. They sometimes meet in the hallways when they pull their victims behind them, heated gazes clashing in the space between them.
That they end up sleeping with each other at some point is an inevitability, and so is the rest. They just take a while to realize it.

Summary
Atsumu has a long history of pissing people off, but this time he’s gone too far. Someone wants him dead, and although he doesn’t know who or why, it becomes clear very quickly that both he and Osamu are in danger. After a couple of close calls, Kita - the Kumicho of Inarizaki - decides it’s not safe for the two of them to stay in Hyogo; not until he finds out who placed the hit and eliminates them.
Atsumu reluctantly finds himself in Tokyo, taken in by a yakuza group that’s nothing like Inarizaki. The Black Jackals are a different breed, more lethal than he’s used to, and Sakusa Kiyoomi is the worst of them all. Of course that’s who Atsumu gets stuck with, and he and Sakusa are in constant competition for who hates each other more.
Tokyo should be a safe haven but between Atsumu’s bloody new assignments, the lingering threat on his life, and all the days trapped with Sakusa, Atsumu isn’t sure he’ll make it out of Tokyo alive.

How interesting! You definitely are a wild bunch of very different people when it comes to love!”
Atsumu’s breath hitches in his throat, and her comment kind of pisses him off, but he tries his best to smile and laugh it off. She says that like he’s unlovable, and ‘Sakusa Kiyoomi, who currently cares only for volleyball’? That seems pretty rude too, he thinks. It’s not like Sakusa’s heartless, even if he is all reserved and stuff.
He doesn’t really listen to much else of what she has to say after that, deciding that he doesn’t really like her that much, and balls his hands into fists in his pockets.

Summary
Steve cops a faceful of Upside Down flower pollen in the tunnels, hours after Billy Hargrove tries to punch Steve's brain out the back of his head. Beyond the general hubbub of UD bullshit, Steve thinks he's made it out pretty much unscathed.
Months later, he makes a discovery. Turns out, he's much more intact than he'd thought. As in, his skin is baby smooth. Even the scar on his knee from his ill-advised ‘77 summer of skateboarding has disappeared.
OR: Steve Harrington can take a hit. He can take many hits. In fact, thanks to the Upside Down, there isn't a hit Steve can't take.
