He winced, folding his hands in his lap, tugging down his sleeve to hide the ugly bruise. His wings twitched dejectedly behind him, the damp grass chilling the ratty feathers.
Dream did so much for him, and he couldn't even do such a small task. "Keep your grades up," That's all he had ever asked of him- and Tommy couldn't even do that.
His hands wrenched into the grass, fingers itching for feathers.
