Summary

Steve takes a deep breath and picks up the receiver, “Hello?”
The kitchen lights flicker once, so quickly that he convinces himself that he imagined it, and then there’s a crackling, a kind of static-y hiss against his ear, and the rasp of a voice, “Hey, I need, uh, police?”
There’s something familiar about the voice, something twitching at the back of his mind, the tip of his tongue, but Steve can’t quite place it.
“Hello? Anyone there? Please?” it comes again, laced with so much desperation that it has the back of Steve’s neck prickling uncomfortably, “I need- shit, I need help.”
AKA Billy is trapped in the Upside Down and somehow manages to call Steve's house.

i love fics where draco learns when he’s young that his family’s beliefs are wrong, but most of the time it’s just not written completely believably. THIS is so realistic. having someone that was in such a similar position to you tell you how wrong they were, how they suffered, and wanted more for you because they never got that chance, is a HUGE wake up call. but one, like the author shows, would happen over time. absolutely marvelous fic and should be at the top of everyone’s draco!centric drarry fics. the draco & neville friendship was a massive bonus as well, never would have thought about it and now i can’t stop.
