Summary
And suddenly, with sharp clarity, he remembered who he was and what he was here to do. He remembered the plan he had to put into motion. He scrambled at the opportunity, the last ditch attempt to charm and lure her away. But he could not do it. He danced with her and he forgot himself, in the movement, in her body, in her glorious, wild laughter. He had never heard anything like it. Is this what birdsong sounded like? So alive, so free. Despite himself, he had smiled and he had laughed along with her. He could not remember the last time he had truly laughed. He had felt a strange warmth in his chest, a glorious sunbeam he had managed to trap in his fingers that he didn't want to let slip away.

Astarion x Human Ranger Tav Romance. Mostly a self-indulgent retelling of canon featuring a lot of in game dialogue with original ideas sprinkled in too 😊 Now with a little bit of my art ❤️

Summary
None of it, not the din of the inn or the hum in her head, stopped her from hearing the shape of his voice. His vowels curved in a way hers had at one time but no longer did.
When Ari fixes the lighthouse, her estranged brother washes into town. A decade of avoided feelings follow him like the tide, as does an affinity for Mistria's sweet and soft-hearted archeologist.

Summary
“Why can’t you like my good looks and charm instead?” He asked, bemused.
Ari leaned into him, resting her head where it fit so well on his strong chest. “You know, it sounds like you just want me to tell you how handsome you are.” He scoffed, and she couldn’t bear to look at him. She lingered against his chest, feeling the warmth radiate from him. “The little things about you, Balor, they make you more… real. More human.”
Balor’s expression shifted, the playfulness fading as he absorbed her words. “More human, huh?”
“Yeah,” she continued, her voice miraculously steady. “I like who you are, even when nobody else is looking.”
Or, what it takes to find a home.

Summary
“I just—” she starts, and then stops.
“I know,” he says again, softer.
Because he does.
Because Kaeya Alberich knows a hundred kinds of loneliness, and he recognized hers the moment she walked back into Mondstadt with that tired, careful smile and those unreadable eyes.
He doesn’t ask her to explain.
He just smooths a hand over her spine, slow and reverent, like he’s quieting a creature who doesn’t know she’s safe yet. Like he’s touching something fragile and divine. His palm lingers between her shoulder blades, his thumb moving in slow, senseless circles, and it makes her feel—impossibly—like a person again. Like something more than a weapon with legs and a smile she’s learned how to wear like armor.
In which Lumine is tired of gods, and Kaeya makes her feel human again.
(or, how he kneels like a sinner and worships her like a saint.)

Summary
Sirius Black was the epitome of arrogance and cockiness that some of the members of Gryffindor house seemed to exude. His dark hair was framing his face like a black halo, an angel of misery.
“Black, can I help you?” She asked with contempt in her voice would make most shrink back but not Sirius. Her tone seemed to spark some satisfaction in him and he smiled.
“You know, some would be enthralled to be gifted with my presence.” He said in a seductive voice.
Evie rolled her eyes. This again. She heard Lily snort from beside her.
“And some would be inclined to stick nails into their eyes when forced to endure any length of time with you.”Bookmarked by sleepyeladrin (moondruid)
