It’s like...they have something like this too, right?” She gestures outward impatiently, and Bruce forces himself not to flinch at her casual use of they. “Only they have words written down instead.”
“Soulmates,” Clark says, his voice strained.
The word hits Bruce like a bullet through the lung. He keeps his face perfectly relaxed, his heartbeat calm and regular, as he realizes (too late, he's always too late) that he should have expected this all along.

Summary
Things start as they always do, on a normal day, on a normal planet. They save everyone, and in turn, Lance gets to drink a Truth potion he didn't ask for.
Keith looks too beautiful and his body hurts all the times, and there are so many things Lance wants to keep quiet.
The longer it lasts, the harder it gets. He can only hold on, and hope his friends will love him in spite of everything he never wanted to say (they will).

Summary
After the war, Lance has begun to push everyone away, but though Keith was the one to leave him last time, this time he won’t go so easily. He helps to pull Lance back into the light, brings him to work at the Blade, and maybe they start to see each other for the parts of themselves they had hidden away.
This is all the Langst and Klance (and Veronica/Acxa) and blatant sidestepping of Allurance we all deserve. After they get together slow burn style the final chapters will be starring their established relationship!

“H-Hey!” Lance hoists up his rifle. “Look, I know you guys are all about mystery, but if you’re going to drag me around I need a name. Coran makes us write these reports, and—anyway, what do I call you?”
The fighter doesn’t break his sprint.
Lance pops an approaching climber off the side of the building with a blast to the stomach. He doesn’t watch them go careening down. “You’re kind of small for a Blade, so maybe Tiny? Shortstack? Shrimpman? Do you guys have, like, school ID numbers?”
No response except the squelch of a sword sinking into flesh and being pulled back out. They’re almost at the top of the stairs. “You’re also real quiet. Maybe…Mr. Sneaky? Ninja? Samura— ah, um. Rogue?”
The Blade stutters to a stop, masked eyes flashing over Lance for only a second. It could have been anything, but so far he’s had nothing, so Lance grasps it with both hands. “Rogue! Awesome. So, I’ll ask again, where in Altea’s name are we going?”

Summary
Keith spent two years on the space whale watching visions of his future play out before him. There were parts of the visions Keith desperately hoped he would live to have: a cozy house on the beach, a loving family, a daughter, and a boy with blue eyes. There were also things he viciously did not want to come true.
When Keith and Krolia escape the space whale and return to the Castle of Lions, he sees Lance for the first time in years. Lance’s eyes are the same shade of blue as the boy in the visions, and Keith doesn’t know how he hadn’t realized it sooner. Of course, it would be Lance. Of course, Keith would do anything to make a future with Lance a reality.

“All paladins accounted for?” Allura asked, scanning the formation through the viewport.
“Green, Yellow, and Black lions in position,” Coran confirmed.
“Excellent. And the others?”
There was a long pause.
“Er…” Coran squinted at his readings. “That’s… peculiar.”
Allura turned, frowning. “What is?”
“The Red and Blue lions aren’t in formation.”
The words hung in the air like a static charge.
Shiro’s expression shifted instantly. “What do you mean, not in formation?”
Coran tapped frantically at his console. “They’re not responding to ping. And according to the last record, they’re still on the planet’s surface.”
Pidge’s eyes widened. “Wait, still? But we left hours ago!”
Hunk’s spoon clattered to the floor. “You mean—they’re not on board?!”
Allura’s face drained of color. “Please tell me this is some kind of sensor error.”
Coran shook his head gravely. “No error, my lady. It appears our Red and Blue Paladins have been… left behind.”
There was a beat of silence.

Summary
Before Chuuya agreed to date Dazai, they agreed that they would never allow their personal life to interfere with their professional loyalties, and that they would never hold anything done on the clock against each other in their personal lives. To this end, when either is on the clock, they disclose it. This has happened a few times, but today, for the first time, they're both working at the same time against each other.
They navigate these tricky waters with ease, but one of Chuuya’s colleagues fails to meet the same standard of professionalism.
Excerpt:
Chuuya was interrupted by his phone. Looking at the caller ID, he met Mori’s eyes and swiped the phone to speaker, holding it up. Enunciating clearly, he said, “You’re on speaker, and I’m on the clock.”
Dazai’s voice came from the phone, amused. “Ah, then you already know. Well, this is your formal notice. Next time I see you, I will be on the clock as well.”

“That’s wrong,” Nadia complains, and yanks her brother down to her level to whisper the correction in his ear.
“Ooh,” Silvio amends. “Tía Veronica said you have a pale ass. My Abuela said you’re gonna die.”
OR
When Lance is fatally wounded during their final battle, the blue lion enters a deep hibernation with Lance inside. Unsure when or if he’ll wake, Keith is forced to wait and watch over him in the company of the people he fears most: Lance’s family.

Summary
Despite his earlier apprehension, Chuuya falls asleep relatively quickly.
In his sleep, he nuzzles his face into Dazai’s chest. He doesn’t mind. He merely cradles Chuuya’s sleeping frame, thinking about how damn scared he was to have almost lost the man in his arms.
He relishes in every small puff of breath he feels against his neck, because it means Chuuya’s still alive. Still here. He doesn’t think there’s any going back from this, now.
You don’t feel this way about the man you’re using as a pawn in an elaborate international con.

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
