Summary
Blond hair flipped over a shoulder as the man looked over to him. Faceless, faceless—that's all they ever were. The people in the streets lack anything distinguishing as well, but the only one that felt like a loss was that of his unnamed companion. He should be able to look into his eyes, study the curve of his nose and the bow of his lips, but it isn't there, never is.
He awakes to the feeling of falling, a strange lilting sensation in his stomach and throat as he holds back words he no longer knows the meaning of.
Louis, a grad school student and bartender in 2022 Paris, keeps dreaming of a life he's never lived. Things are already complicated when he's spending his waking moments separating those dreams from reality, so could this oddly familiar man leave him alone?
