...Things are a little different for Saihara, who hates himself for deciding to hold off on confessing (yes, confessing) to Ouma until their senior year. Steeling his nerves, he strikes up an email correspondence with his unlikely crush.

Despite all the time that had passed, their classroom 2-2 had barely changed. The permanent dent etched into corner of the chalkboard was still there, and it was all too easy to imagine Moroking or Sofue behind the lectern, regaling their class with lessons that Yosuke had long forgotten about.
The view was made better as Yu slid into the desk in front of him, and in this blissfully empty classroom, there’s no need for note-passing or chair-kicking like they used to do. Yu turned around with an easy smile, cheek resting against fist as he beamed at Yosuke.
“So?” Yu started, “how does it feel?”

Summary
Cleanse the Stain - a video game about...? Yosuke didn't really know. It was another one of those titles that came out that had a flimsy, tropey plot, and smut. He didn't want this. A coworker foisted it on him, though, and Yosuke got bored on his night off. Due to the sunk cost fallacy, he got a little too far to back out, and then... he was in the game. Or dead? Dead and in the game? He didn't know.
What he did know that this the worst and he was in the Demon King's lands.-
He was getting worked up by hypotheticals again, and nearly didn’t notice the massive evil doors in front of them. The guards at either side of the door knocked using their even larger fuckoff spears, and the doors opened with the sound of groaning, like there were ten or more people on the other side hauling them.
The place was opulent, and Yosuke found himself appreciating whichever work slaves had made such a beautiful game, only for it to go mostly unappreciated, probably. He didn’t look at reviews of porn games and he actually tried to avoid them out of a sense of shame, but– no, why was he considering this? He was probably dead! Yukiko and Chie. Naoto and Kanji. Rise and some random guy in her year, Even stupid Teddie is flirting, successfully, with a new Junes hire. Yosuke was the only one in the group who was alone except for...Yu, of course. He didn't like his partner, not like that at all, but just in a completely platonic, bro-type way. Sure, they texted every day, called each other late at night almost every day, and sent pictures to each other as if they were dating. But they weren't, Yosuke would never allow these moments to grow anymore than they should.
But, Yu was back in small-town Inaba for summer break and the summer heat is affecting Yosuke in more ways than one.
Note: The first chapter will not have anything explicit, but the second chapter will be a bit more spicy :3.
