Summary
Jisung can’t help the chirping.
When the door shuts, Felix is quick to maneuver them on their sides so he can cradle Jisung’s body to his chest, murmuring little assurances into his neck, spreading his scent. It helps but it doesn’t stop the trill that escapes him nor the embarrassed whimper that follows.
“Alpha,” he whines pitifully, unable to stop the tears from forming in his eyes. He barely even got to look at him.
Felix shushes him, eyebrows drawn. He surges forward and licks his cheeks, stopping his tears in their rolling tracks.
“Alpha isn’t coming,” Felix mutters, anger still present in his voice.
OR: Jisung presents as an omega. Minho doesn't handle it very well. Felix intervenes.

Minho cocks his head to the side.

He would maybe consider it if Jisung had someone in mind. A week is still short notice but he trusts that Jisung would know someone decent. But even if they’re decent, Jisung still wouldn’t know if their scent is compatible with Minho’s. Jisung’s beta senses aren’t as strong.
“I am someone,” he says, making little jazz hands.
OR: after Minho's usual rut partner cancels right before Minho's rut, Jisung offers to take his place.
