It’s a feeling so strong it’s almost elemental, as instinctive as his bending has always been, an impulse born of wind and wildfire. Maybe it’s the firebending in him that Aang’s tried to beat down for so long, rising to the surface at last; Aang doesn’t know, doesn’t want it to be true even if it is, but he can’t let it go.
He can’t leave without Zuko.
