Summary
Dean is aimless, finding no way to get Cas back from the Empty.
One day, Claire shows up and drags him on a hunt, and over time Dean begins to find purpose again in traveling with Claire, helping Jody around the house, camping with Sam, and eventually starting to open up about the things he's never been able to say aloud.
In the winter, Dean takes a job for Jody’s friends, fixing up their old inn and looking after it for the season.
Time moves forward, but Cas is always on Dean’s mind. He’s going to get him back, and he’s going to say what he needs to say.
