This is what romance is like in my head. They're incredibly sweet and at times even emotional and vulnerable. Dazai has incredible lines, both as a character and romantically. All the implications about other characters. Makes you fall in love with falling in love.

Summary
When the mark appeared on his wrist, Luffy was told that he'd fall in love the instant he met his special person. The thing was, Luffy wasn’t the type of guy to let some soulmark dictate his path in life, and Zoro looked awfully friend-shaped to him.
Torao, on the other hand, with his dead-eyed stare and the furrow in his brow, had a really nice smile.

"I told you not to touch that stone! Why do you never listen to me?!"
Shanks finally smiles, something carefree, something a little distant. "Sorry, Bugs, you know how bad I am with orders."
Buggy makes an angry noise strangled in his throat. "So what do we do now? Is this in our mind? Is it a projected illusion?"
"Only one way to find out, right?"
And then Rayleigh is subjected to a blood curdling scenario in which Buggy calmly throws the knife in his hand at Shanks and incites shouts of panic amongst the crew. The knife is embedded deep enough that in a matter of seconds, Shanks' shirt is soaked with blood.
While the rest of the crew throw themselves into a panicked frenzy, grabbing hold of both of their cabin boys, Rayleigh sees clearly as Shanks and Buggy share a look that slowly descends into horror.

I imagine that Rayleigh was convinced of this "Luffy" being Shanks son for quite some time until actually meeting him.
Also poor Buggy for the amount of jokes Crocodile and Mihawk will make about him over this. -

It was an entirely unspoken understanding amongst the crew. Sanji was, uncharacteristically, missing, and Zoro needed to be the one to handle it, if only to give them the privacy to hash out whatever was happening between them. Zoro would never voice his concern, but he felt scared for the other, with a twinge of guilt that perhaps he should’ve just gone with the cook in the first place to hash things out. He needed to be harsh, he needed to put his foot down, and he knew that. This is nothing. We are nothing. That was a mistake. Something stopped him from doing so. He was hesitating and just making the entire situation worse. He’d never- not once- cared about hurting the other’s feelings, but he felt for some reason that the discussion deserved a right place and a right time.
Perhaps he knew deep down that mindless insults didn’t hurt Sanji’s feelings, but this might.
(or, the one where Zoro rescues his damsel in distress)

Title comes from the song Hunter by Paris Paloma, which played at the theater before my second viewing of Sonic 3, and now is a song I associate wholly with sonadow. Haha, whoops!

Mike doesn’t know what’s faster - the tears coming up to his eyes or the ache flooding his veins. He feels an excruciating pain in his right arm, something very close to being burnt alive, as he realises that his words have turned black.

Kyojuro’s right hand drifted to the band wrapped around his left wrist. He wasn’t even aware he was doing it until he noticed Tengen’s demeanour shift from melodramatic to awkward.

“It’s okay,” Kyojuro assured him, running his forefinger under the rim of the red strip of elastic. It clung skin-tight, and most of the time, he forgot it was there.
Which was good. He didn’t like being reminded of it.
“You’re lucky to have them, y’know,” Tengen said, his gaze also trained on Kyojuro’s arm.
“Maybe.” Kyojuro furrowed his brow. “But they aren’t.”

Kyojuro wasn't supposed to meet his soulmate. He should have died before he met them, and yet here he was, bonded to his brother's martial arts instructor.
Akaza was... strange, to say the least. But maybe, for once in his life, Kyojuro could let himself have something good.
Surely something as simple as a soulmate couldn't blow up in his face?
