If Kyoujurou is put off by the callousness of his tone, he doesn't show it. His smile is unfaltering. "Is that so?"
"You want a demonstration?"

Akaza only has two goals in mind during his time at Kimetsu University: graduate as fast as he can and survive being a TA for the notorious Professor Kibutsuji Muzan.
But when he meets Kyoujurou, who declines his invitation to join the karate club, and who can't seem to stop appearing in his life, his classes, his thoughts—everything starts to change.

Summary
Kyoujurou finally looks up.
The face that stares back at him is a stranger's. Akaza is wearing an expression he doesn’t think he’s ever seen on him before—tense and haggard and undisputably, unnervingly human. His fingers are buried in the blanket, twisting it, and the fabric is ripping under his nails unnoticed. He's almost straining his neck to reach Kyoujurou. Sitting up, looking at him—nervously. The meaning of his strange statement just now is lost on him.
Is he trying to apologize? Very well, then. Kyoujurou sets his jaw and doesn’t say anything for long, long seconds.

It's all too common a scene - Sanji can only admit he wants Zoro when he's drunk, Zoro has to grapple with knowing he and Sanji could be so happy if only Sanji could bring himself to be honest when they're both sober, and in the morning he has to deal with things going back just the way they were without hope of any resolution between them, sexual or otherwise.
Except this time it's the morning-after and Sanji is dropping heavy hints he remembers EXACTLY what happened between them during their last drunken rendezvous-
Except EXCEPT they didn't actually manage to DO anything, so what the hell is it that Sanji remembers?Aka. "it's sexy when Sanji has to - or chooses to - vocalise what he wants before he can get it", the fic. What was originally PWP that ran away from me and now covers Sanji's load-bearing heterosexuality (self-inflicted), character introspection for he and Zoro both, and a burgeoning romance. Complete but may be expanded on.

“We keep ending up here,” Sanji says with an almost wistful smile. There's blood on his teeth. “What is it about this beach, huh?”
Zoro grunts. “It's where we start every time. Makes sense we'd end here.”
Sanji hums and brings the cigarette to his lips. “How much longer does it last for you?”
“Got another four days,” Zoro says. “Might just end it early, start over.”
“Seems like a waste of resources,” Sanji says. “What if this is the one you could have kept going?”
Zoro doesn't say that he wouldn't want to keep going, if it meant leaving Sanji behind.

A silence falls through them, only cut by the soft sound of their breaths against each other's mouths. Not even the cicadas sing outside; they too must be caught in the anticipation of it, spying through the slightly cracked window as the two almost-lovers teeter on the edge between stopping now and indulging their pumping blood.
Kanae would stop. She’d be mature enough to pull herself under control, wise enough to understand that this could only cause trouble, and respectful enough not to spit on whatever future Mitsuri may have with Iguro.
But Shinobu isn’t Kanae. She never has been. She’s too immature, too weak to defeat the demon in her belly, a slave to her own emotions, especially so now. And she wants this so fucking bad.
