“Really, Damian, on Buzzfeed?” Tim’s nose scrunches up. He glances towards the camera warily. “You’re not gonna include this in the video, are you?”
Damian gets a venomous look on his face, but is stopped from saying anything by Dick clearing his throat. “Okay, so, intros are over. We’re the Wayne children if that’s not already clear—” he grins again, “and today we’re doing an interview with puppies! Yaaay!”
Jason is rolling his eyes and sticking his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket. Cassandra is smiling serenely. Tim just looks somewhere between tired and exasperated.
Damian, at least, looks slightly placated by the mention of dogs. So that’s something.
The batkids do a puppy interview with Buzzfeed.

Dick shrugs, fiddling with the sleeves of his sweater, "I guess. I've never had my own room before. It is very… cold."
"I can tell Alfred to turn the heating up in here," Bruce immediately says, grimacing when Dick looks almost embarrassed, eyes trained down on the rug in the middle of the room.
"No! No, not cold like that," he grumbles, hunching in on himself, "It is lonely, being the only one. I used to sleep next to mama and papa."
Bruce imagines knocking himself out with an inflatable hammer, "Oh. Right."
(Bruce stops a city from drowning, goes to the circus and becomes a toy maker — in that order.)

Summary
"I kill so others don't have to," Bruce states firmly and clearly. This entire situation didn't seem like it could get any more bizarre, what with Bruce sitting in the dark and polishing guns, but somehow it just has, "While you are here you will not kill."
Jason's throat is scratchy and dry with terror, but the insatiable feeling of being talked over and disregarded is a fresh wound. He can't back down from this if he tried, "I've killed. I still kill. Who the fuck do you think you are to stop me?"
Bruce gently sets down his gun, and picks up the blade beside him with practised ease. Jason's blood runs cold when the man wearing his father's face says, "You will die by my hand if you try."
(Jason meets a version of Bruce who has manifested his fears very differently.)
