Summary
“I’m Heeseung, by the way.” The other says and his voice is husky, ticklish. Sunghoon decides he loves to listen to it. “Lee Heeseung.”
“Park Sunghoon.” He offers in return, lips pulled into a small smile.
“Sunghoon.” And he loves the way Heeseung’s mouth forms the word. Loves how he makes it seem so beautiful, so precious. “I haven’t seen you around before.”
“I’m new in town.” Sunghoon holds the cup between his hands, fingers drumming on the exterior. “I haven’t even been here a full day yet.”
“And you’re already making your Itaewon debut?” Heeseung cocks a brow and Sunghoon feels the shame start to prickle at his skin
Or: Sunghoon is kicked out of his home, removed from all he knows, and forced to adapt in a world that seems to be out to get him

Summary
“You can’t be serious.” Sunghoon continues to cackle, losing his breath rapidly as he tries to speak. “Duke Lee? Don’t play with me. I’m simply not in the mood.” The room is eerily silent save for the puffs of breath from the young Park. “You can’t be…” He finally looks up, three sets of eyes boring into him with nothing but the cold, hard truth. His own eyes shook as the gravity of the situation dawned on him like a slap to the face.
“The certificate is already signed.” Earl Park clears his throat. “You’re married.”
“You’re saved, child, you’re saved!” The Countess exclaims in glee, clapping her hands together. “We’re all saved!”
And in a span of perhaps an hour, Sunghoon was single, betrothed, married and wedded without even so much as a glimpse of the man.
Or: Sunghoon is thrust into society only to be married off in an instant to the rumored monster Duke Lee, but maybe Heeseung isn't what he seems.

Summary
Though they were beneath the shade of a tree, the rays peeked through the leaves and licked at tender skin, leaving red splotches on the paler of the boys. His face was cupped between two tanner palms, fingertips offering the flesh a teasing squish.
“Let’s get you inside.” And his smile was brighter than that day, dazzling white. “Can’t have our little prince turning red.” The teasing was almost lost on the younger boy, too entranced by the vision before him.
“Okay..” He mused, not forgetting to roll his eyes to save himself from further ridicule.
Or: Heeseung and Sunghoon navigate their complicated feelings in a small town where such things are forbidden.

Summary
The realization dawns on Heeseung with a flush, tan cheeks brushed with rouge. It’s the first time Sunghoon, or rather anyone, has seen him in this state. All the things he dutifully repressed were slipping through the cracks. It was embarrassing, really, feeling like a caged animal on display.
“I want to touch you.. to hold you, to feel you, to smell you.” Heeseung grits out, like the admittance is a punishment.
Sunghoon cocks a brow. “I don’t put it out for just anyone, Lee Heeseung.”
“I’m not just anyone, Park Sunghoon.” He quips back.
Or: Heeseung finally comes to terms with what Sunghoon means to him.

Summary
“Those beers were shitty.” He groaned in response, hands lazily carding through his wind tousled locks. The older’s laugh wasn’t taken lightly either, he assumed, since he could feel the younger’s eyes boring a hole into the side of his head.
“Beer is beer.” Heeseung shrugged his shoulders, ignoring the intensity of the boy’s gaze. “We all know you didn’t drink it for the taste.” He laid the teasing on thick in his tone.
“Shut up.” He murmured in defeat before rising in defiance once more. “Just let me complain for the sake of complaining!”
“You’re deflecting-“
“And you’re annoying!”
Or: Heeseung grapples with feelings he doesn't feel equipped to have.
