When Remus saw him, it was like staring at the sun. So bright and beautiful, but deadly if looked upon for too long.
He was a mere boy of 11 then, with no friends or any sort of name in the Wizarding World. He was just Remus. And ‘just Remus’ seemed fine as it was. He didn’t want to stand out; he didn’t want any wandering eyes around him or any of the usual fame that most people, secretly, some more than others, craved. Remus was content with being a shadow. But that all changed when he looked at him.
He had just arrived at Hogwarts, having been accepted that summer. His parents were filled with joy upon receiving the acceptance letter. That day, they talked to him about all the great things he was going to achieve while at Hogwarts, and Remus had listened with half an ear, his mind occupied with the dooming dread inside him. He was happy to be a wizard, of course, but he was also aware of his condition. Dumbledore, however, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, insisted on accepting Remus into the school, thus officiating the decision. Still, the condition made things rather complicated.
So, as Remus looked at his feet, tried his best to remain a shadow in the crowd of first-year students around him, and thought about the condition, Professor McGonagall called out his name.
“Sirius Black.”
Whispers immediately travelled through the Great Hall. Remus lifted his gaze, seeing a boy with pitch-black curly hair slowly walk to the seat where the Sorting Hat was resting. Remus remembered hearing about the Black family once or twice over dinner with his parents, but all he recalled was their reputation for blood purity, something Remus very much didn’t have. That only made his nerves grow. Silly, how the rules of somebody’s family could doom the reality of others. Rather unfair, but then again, Remus had learnt long ago that life was nothing if not that.
“Sit down, dear,” Professor McGonagall said, grabbing the Sorting Hat.
Sirius did as she said, sitting down as if he were sitting on Dumbledore’s chair. He looked proudly ahead, ignoring the growing whispers around the Great Hall. Remus’ eyes stayed on his. He could not look away even if he tried. Something was fascinating about him.
“Hm… Another boy from the Black family, eh?” the Sorting Hat said as it was placed on Sirius’ head. “Where should I put you, boy? Slytherin is the obvious choice, isn’t it?”
Sirius’ unreadable expression cracked a bit then, his eyebrows furrowing. Remus noticed his shoulders tensing up.
“No? ... Unusual… Very unusual… You have the ambition needed, yes… But no?...Very well..." There was a pregnant pause. The Great Hall held its breath. “Gryffindor!”
Thunderous applause erupted from the Gryffindor table as several students stood up. Professor McGonagall lifted the hat from Sirius’s head, and he made his way to the Gryffindor table, a grin on his lips. As he passed by the waiting students, his eyes fell upon Remus’. The applause seemed to fade away for a few seconds as both boys stared at one another.
Remus thought perhaps that he was cursing his existence, hating him for who he was. Not that he knew about the condition, obviously, but Sirius might hate him for another thing altogether. But then, as Remus felt his heart thundering inside his chest, Sirius simply smiled at him until he broke eye contact and took a seat by the Gryffindor table. Several students patted his back.
“That never happened before, you know?” A boy suddenly said from beside Remus, making him almost jump in place. “He’s nice enough, though. Met him on the train.”
Remus looked at him and saw two round glasses first, then the boy who wore them.
“James Potter.” He stretched out his hand towards Remus. “And you are…?”
Remus eyed the hand and nervously took it. “Remus Lupin.”
“Nice to meet you, Remus.”
As they shook hands, a boy named Petter Pettigrew was called, and the sorting ceremony continued.
When Remus was sorted into Gryffindor, joining James and Sirius, he tried his very best to remain quiet and unseen. It had always been so easy to do that. But as Sirius made a rather crude joke that made James laugh and Remus blush, he thought it impossible to remain invisible for much longer. Especially not when Sirius kept looking at him with a grin and waiting for him to laugh at his jokes.

“You are a bunch of bloody wankers,” Sirius accused, tossing a pillow at James’ head.
“Oh come now, Padfoot!” James replied, grabbing the pillow and hugging it tightly. “We are all mates here! Oh, you can trust us to keep any dirty details you might wanna share.”
“Yeah, Sirius,” Peter said, looking at him eagerly. “You can trust us.”
“It’s not that I don’t trust you, it’s just…” He had a shit-eating grin on his face that Remus could now recognise from ten miles away. After five years, there was pretty much nothing Sirius could say or do that Remus didn’t immediately decipher.
“Just what, Sirius?” James asked with a groan.
“Well, a gentleman never kisses and tells.”
“Oh, piss off; you are not a bloody gentleman!” James accused, and they all erupted into laughter.
“I think Julia might agree….” Sirius coyly said, making Remus’ heart drop. Julia was the girl Sirius had been seeing for a couple of weeks now. She was a Hufflepuff fifth-year student, the same year as they were.
“You filthy little dog!” James replied with an exaggerated gasp. He threw the pillow back at Sirius. “Now you must really not spare us any details.”
“Alright, alright!” Sirius said between laughter. He was lying on his bed, black hair creating a halo around his head. Peter and James were sitting by his side while Remus stayed on his bed, which was next to Sirius. “So we…kissed.”
Remus looked at his fingernails, playing with the dead skin of his cuticles as his three friends talked. His knees were drawn up to his chest, and his back was against his pillow.
“And?...” James asked, drawing out the word as he wiggled his eyebrows.
Sirius chuckled. “And I touched her… down there.”
A shocked gasp, swallowed up by laughter, came out of James’ mouth as Peter’s face became scarlet red. Remus focused on his fingernails again, this time more attentively. He did not like the tight feeling that had appeared on his chest.
“Merlin’s beard, I can’t believe she let you get that far, Sirius!” James said.
Sirius put his forearm beneath his head. “She was practically begging me to.”
That earned another gasp from his two friends.
“How did it feel?” Peter asked timidly.
“That’s for me to know, Wormtail. Go find yourself a girl who is mad enough to let you touch her there.”
“Piss off, Sirius,” he murmured, casting his eyes down to his lap.
“Yeah, piss off, Padfoot!” James said, but then lowered himself so he hovered on top of Sirius’ face. “But tell me after these two idiots are asleep, okay?”
Sirius shoved him away with a playful smile, making James slip from his bed and fall to the ground. That made Remus smile, and of course, Sirius, being the little shit that he was, always finding ways of making Remus embarrassed or nervous, noticed immediately.
“Oi, Moony, how about you?” Remus met his eyes then, seeing a glimmer of mischief in them. “Any lucky ladies we might want to hear about?”
“Just one.” Sirius’ smile dropped slightly, but not enough for the others to notice. “Your mom.”
James, still on the ground, broke into laughter, putting his hands over his belly. Peter chuckled along, always making sure the others did first.
“Ah, ah, very funny,” Sirius dryly replied. His smile had grown wide again.
“Alright, boys, this has been so much fun, but I need some sleep, or I will grow grumpier than Remus when there’s a full moon.” Remus showed him the middle finger. “You coming, Wormtail?” Peter jumped to his feet, nodding. “Gimme a hand then.”
He helped James get up from the floor, and the two walked to their beds.
“Night, boys,” James said before drawing the curtains around his bed.
“Goodnight,” Peter followed, closing the curtains as well.
Silence fell upon the dormitory then, and suddenly Remus’ cuticles were no longer in much need of attention. He did not know what to say or do, so he thought only of doing one thing.
“So I think I am off to bed—”
“Are you alright, Remus?” Sirius asked, talking over him.
Remus’ heart tightened even further, as if he were under the condition again. In fact, if he had to describe it, he would say it was somehow worse. At least when he turned, he wasn’t conscious.
“I’m fine.”
“Really?” Sirius was looking at him. “You were quiet tonight.”
Remus shrugged. “James talked enough for both of us, I reckon.”
That made Sirius chuckle.
“True that…” There was a pause before Sirius spoke again. “It’s not because of Julia, is it?”
Remus’ heart skipped a beat, and a cold rush of adrenaline flowed through his stomach. He felt trapped.
“What?” he asked, looking at Sirius.
“I mean, I know you two had a few classes together this year and… I don’t know; maybe you fancy her too?”
That made Remus’ panic calm down, his breath finally leaving his lungs.
“Oh… No, it’s not like that. She’s nice enough and all that, but we are just friends.”
“Oh, that’s a relief!” Sirius said, smiling. “She’s the prettiest girl in our year, isn’t she?”
“Uh?” Remus said, mindlessly. “Oh yeah, sure.”
He put his legs underneath his sheets as Sirius frowned at his reply.
“I’m going to sleep as well, Sirius. Goodnight.”
Before Sirius could reply, Remus pulled the curtains around his bed, hiding him from his friend’s eyes.

Summer had come, and with it the end of classes. Remus could smell the warm breeze in the air and feel how much nature had blossomed during spring, and suddenly, problems like the O.W.L.s exams were nothing but a bad nightmare.
They were finally free to do anything they liked. Naturally, for their last day of fifth year at Hogwarts, they chose to spend it by the Black Lake. Sirius had always liked going there whenever he could. He said he enjoyed turning into a dog and swimming in the water. Apparently, whatever creatures inhabited the lake did not care much for dogs.
So, that’s how Remus had ended up sitting by a tree’s fallen trunk as Sirius, well, his Animagus form, ran through the shore and barked.
Peter was collecting some rocks, his hands exploring the ground meticulously as he knelt, and James was sitting next to Remus, cheering Sirius on and whistling.
“Yeah, Padfoot!” he yelled as Sirius put his snout on the water and sprayed it everywhere through his nostrils.
“I think he likes being a dog more than a human,” Remus said with a smile.
“I’m sure of it, Moony,” James replied as he adjusted his glasses.
Sirius barked and then ran towards them. His ears flapped in the wind as his tongue fell from his mouth, and water dripped from his black fur.
“What is he…” Remus' words died in his throat as Sirius stopped in front of them and then shook himself dry, making drops of water fly everywhere and wetting their clothes and faces.
“Oh, shit!” James complained, getting up from the tree trunk. His Gryffindor uniform was soaked. “You are going to pay for that, Padfoot!”
Sirius quickly transformed into a human again. His black hair was dripping with water, as was his uniform. The white buttoned-up blouse turned almost transparent, sticking to his naked chest and revealing the skin underneath. Remus let his eyes linger for longer than normal on the area until Sirius caught his eye, making him look anywhere else but there.
“Oh, come on, James, can’t take a little joke?” Sirius asked with a grin as he passed a hand through his wet hair.
“I will show you a little joke.”
“If you two are going to fight like a bunch of idiots, I suggest you do it far away from me,” Remus said, making his friends look at him.
James scowled at that, but Sirius continued grinning.
“You heard Moony,” he said to James.
“Ah, fine… I am going to check if Wormtail has found any mind-blowing rock…” James murmured with an annoyed voice as he walked towards Peter.
Sirius waved him off, making James give him the finger with his back turned to them.
“You two bicker like an old married couple sometimes,” Remus said, chuckling.
“Very kind of you to say, dear Moony!” Sirius replied with a very posh accent. He sat next to Remus. “But don’t you worry, if I had to marry any of you miserable twats, you would definitely be my first choice.”
He nudged Remus slightly, but even the slightest touch to his sore ribs made him hiss in pain. The last full moon had been one week ago, and even if the worst had passed, Remus still felt like he had been run over by a train. Each turning made it harder and harder to endure. Thankfully, he had found a group of friends who understood what he went through and helped him when the condition took over.
Remus had never imagined they would be so supportive of him as they have been since they found out about his condition in the second year of school. Sirius had been the one to introduce the Animagus idea to the Marauders, and once his mind was set on something, he was going to see it through.
“Sorry,” Sirius whispered as Remus winced at the slight bump. “I forgot you were still recovering.”
“It’s okay.” He watched as James knelt beside Peter. “Although I would prefer if you didn’t touch me with your freezing cold, soaked body.”
“Demanding, are we?” Sirius joked, making Remus smile softly. “Do not worry, I will only touch your majesty when I am no longer dripping wet.”
“Or smelling like a wet dog.”
“How dare you!”
They burst into laughter, which soon died out. Awkward silence followed, and Remus once again did not know what to say. The past few months had been a bit strange… Ever since Sirius and Julia began dating, it seemed like Remus more often than not had a hard time talking to Sirius. They would still explore the castle when everybody was asleep, using the map they had built a few years ago, and they were all still friends, but… well, Remus had started feeling distant from the Marauders.
He loved them like brothers, James and Peter especially, but things with Sirius were…complicated. He did not want them to be; he hated complex things, but alas, they were. Sirius had started snogging Julia whenever he could, which shouldn’t bother Remus. It wasn't like Sirius hadn't snogged girls before. That had always been the way with Sirius. He was always quick with a stupid sexual innuendo or a joke that made heat rush to Remus’ cheeks… But dating Julia? That was a whole different matter.
He knew James had a massive crush on Lily, and he was pretty sure she liked him as well, even if she spent some days with Severus. Merlin’s beard, did James hate Severus bloody Snape… sometimes a bit too much, Remus thought. He had influenced Sirius to share that same feeling, perhaps not as intensely, but still, it was problematic. A stupid prank of his had been the reason Snape now knew of Remus’ condition… But that was not of relevance. What mattered was that boys his age were supposed to like girls, date them, kiss them… so why did Remus have no interest in them like that? Perhaps it was his condition, but he had never heard of the two being incompatible.
So, he wandered and wandered and tried and tried some more to engage in their silly conversations about Julia and Lily, but it seemed impossible for Remus. It was as if he were trying to hold water with a fork.
“Julia and I broke up,” Sirius suddenly said, snapping Remus away from his mind.
“Really?” Remus asked. His heart had begun beating faster. “I am sorry.”
“It’s alright… I haven’t told the others yet, so please don’t share this with them, alright?” Remus nodded. “I just don’t want James to give me a hard time about it.”
“I don’t think he will, Sirius.” Remus watched as James splashed water against Peter’s face, making the man shriek in surprise.
“Hmm… I don’t know; he can be such an arse sometimes.”
“More times than not, really.”
They chuckled.
“So yeah, I thought you should know that,” Sirius said, turning his head to look at Remus. They made eye contact, and Remus saw a drop of water run down Sirius’s forehead. “What?”
“Your hair is dripping.”
“Wipe it then, Moony.”
Remus slowly reached for his forehead and, with the palm of his hand, cleaned the dripping water. Sirius watched him in silence, his eyes staring straight at him. The air seemed to grow thicker then, and Remus found it difficult to breathe.
His hand lingered on his friend’s skin, and they did not notice at the time, but their knees were pointing towards each other, touching slightly.
“Oi! Come look at the rock Wormtail found!” James suddenly yelled, making the trance between them shatter.
Remus removed his hand rapidly, feeling his fingers tremble.
“Alright!” Sirius replied. He quickly got up from his seat and began walking towards James and Peter.
Remus looked at his wet palm, still tingling with the touch.

“Happy birthday, Moony!” his friends shouted.
Remus grinned, seeing the candles flicker on his birthday cake. Sirius had picked the decoration and flavour.
“Come on, make a wish!” Sirius said.
Remus blew out the candles, casting a smoky cloud around his face, and then closed his eyes. He did not know what to wish for, so he thought of the only thing he wanted at the moment: for his friends to be safe.
They all clapped as Remus opened his eyes again.
“I can’t believe you are a big boy now, Moony,” Sirius teased him.
Lily laughed. “Cut it off, Sirius.”
“Sorry, sweetheart,” Sirius said with a wink, making James scowl at him. His arm was around Lily’s shoulders as they sat on the Gryffindor common room couch. Sirius was next to James, Peter was on the singular chair by his left, and Remus was kneeling on the ground by the fireplace, watching the cake on top of the table.
“Now, presents!” Lily said with a clap of her hands. She grabbed a small box from underneath her cloak and handed it to Remus.
“Thank you,” he said with a smile as he opened it. Inside it was a round glass attached to a string he could put around his neck.
“It’s an illuminator for reading, Remus,” Lily explained. “I know you love reading, so all you have to do is put it on top of the page, and light will project from the glass. I hope you like it.”
“It’s perfect, Lily,” Remus said, reaching for her hand. She took it. “Thank you.”
She smiled and squeezed his hand before letting go.
“Open mine next!” James said, handing Remus a box wrapped with a golden bow on top of it.
“Just before you say anything, I did not agree to this, Remus,” Lily said with a sigh.
Remus furrowed his eyebrows in suspicion, but took the present and began unwrapping it. His eyes widened as he saw a box of condoms, extra-large size.
“I know you are technically an adult now, but I still want you to be properly protected, Moony!” James said with a stupid grin on his face.
Remus blushed deeply. “You are such an idiot, Prongs.”
“Love you too!”
He continued unwrapping gifts until all that was left was Sirius’ present for him. Remus looked up at him, waiting for him to give him anything.
“Oh, it’s not here. You will have to come with me,” Sirius explained with a smile.
“I have no idea what he got you, Moony… I tried to pressure him into telling me, but the wanker would not break,” James said. “Isn’t that right, Wormtail?”
“Yeah,” he replied quickly.
Remus narrowed his eyes at Sirius. “It isn’t something deadly, is it?”
“Unfortunately not…” He got up from the couch and stretched out a hand towards Remus. “Come on.”
Remus took his hand.
Some time later, now in the Astronomy Tower, Remus had his eyes covered by Sirius’ hands. He was guiding him slowly.
“Are we there yet?” Remus asked.
“Just a few more steps and…” He removed his hand from Remus’ eyes. “Open your eyes.”
Remus did as he told him and quickly realised where they were. He frowned and turned around to look at Sirius.
“The Astronomy Tower?”
“Look through the telescope,” Sirius murmured, suddenly very timid.
Remus frowned but walked towards the telescope, lowering his eye so he could look through it. He focused his vision, trying to understand what he was seeing, and then surprise took hold of him.
There was a new constellation. Remus recognised the ones around it – Orion, Ursa Major, and Leo – but not the one next to Cassiopeia. He focused on it, trying to decipher its shape, and once he did, warmth made his heart flutter. It was a wolf’s head.
“I called it ‘Moony’,” Sirius began saying as Remus’ lips stretched into a wide smile. “Dumbledore taught me a spell to create a new constellation temporarily. It only lasts a few hours before it fades away, but I thought you would like it anyway."
Remus removed his eye from the telescope, straightening his back as he looked at Sirius. His friend was nervously playing with his fingernails.
“I know it’s not much, and it won’t last forever, but sometimes things are better because they aren’t forever, right? That sounds poetic, yeah?” He stopped speaking as Remus walked towards him. “Remus, what? Oh!”
Remus grabbed him and hugged him tightly, his head resting on Sirius’ shoulder. His friend was startled at first but soon relaxed into the embrace as his hands held Remus’ lower back.
“Thank you. I love it so much.”
“Happy to hear, Remus.”
Remus could smell Sirius’ new shampoo as he laid his cheek on his friend’s shoulder. He smelt of a fireplace, and it reminded him of all the late nights that the Marauders had spent in the Gryffindor common room.
Then, Remus realised they had been hugging for far too long and awkwardly broke the embrace. His cheeks were flushed pink now, a colour that matched some of his scars.
“Sorry,” he murmured.
Sirius reached for his shoulder with one hand, putting it on top. “For what? I know I am irresistible.”
Remus tried to laugh at Sirius’ joke but failed to. There was suddenly a tightness in his chest that he despised. It was maddening, and it had been growing tighter with each year of his life.
They were halfway done with their last year at Hogwarts, and Remus believed that if he had to endure it for much longer, he would not bear it. But he also knew what was at risk if he tried to speak of it.
“Remus, what is it?”
His eyes began growing hotter, his vision blurrier, and if it wasn’t for the tear that had fallen down his cheek, Remus would have never noticed he was crying. He felt so stupid.
“Hey, none of that,” Sirius said, squeezing his shoulder. “What’s wrong? You can tell me, Remus.”
“I…” He tried to speak, but everything was too much. His lungs heaved in desperation for air, even if a cold breeze travelled through the peak of the Astronomy Tower. “I am scared.”
“Of what? Remus, you are scaring me,” Sirius said with a worried voice.
“There’s something wrong with me, Sirius.”
“Moony, we have talked about this—”
“It’s not that.” The condition was a topic that they had discussed many times. “It’s worse than that, Sirius. I think I…”
“Breathe…” Remus met his eyes then as Sirius inhaled and exhaled for him. “Like this.”
Remus followed his steps, and it did bring him some relief, but he could not stop now, or the words would never leave his mouth.
“I am not like you or James or even Peter… I am different, and not just because of the condition… I don’t like the same people you do…”
Sirius listened attentively.
“What people?”
There was a pregnant pause between them. Remus could feel his bottom lip quivering and his hands shaking. When the words left his mouth, he could not believe it.
“Girls.”
Sirius’ eyes remained the same, his face followed, and Remus could not read him, no matter how much he tried. He was like a statue.
“Fucking say something,” Remus said, cleaning his tears with the back of his hand.
“Don’t curse, Moony; you know it’s naughty to curse,” was all Sirius replied.
Remus felt his heart drop, hating the joke Sirius had made. How was he not taking this seriously? Why didn’t he react?!
“Look, forget about—”
“Are there any boys you are interested in?”
Remus' lips parted slightly, his heartbeat increasing, and slowly he nodded.
“Tell me.”
Sirius moved closer to Remus, his hand still on his shoulder. Remus could do nothing but stare into his eyes, drown in their colour, as he tried to say the name of the person that had occupied his mind since he first laid eyes on him.
The stupid boy with the black curly hair who was always quick with a joke or a witty comment. The boy who despised his family and lived his life wishing he wasn’t their blood. The boy who held him while he turned, who took care of him when he came back to himself.
The boy who made Remus Lupin not want to be a shadow anymore.
“It’s… It’s you, Sirius. It has always been you.”
Now that he had said the dreadful words, they seemed rather silly. He had known Sirius for so long that admitting this to himself was rather comical. How many days had he spent denying this very fact? How many nights did he wish he were Julia or any of the girls who held a bit of Sirius’ heart?
“I see…” Sirius whispered. “That’s funny.”
“It is?”
“You know…” Sirius’ eyes had turned glossy. “I think I also like a boy.”
“You do?” Remus asked with an almost inaudible voice. Sirius had cupped his jaw, moving closer to his face.
“Yeah… Big time.”
And that’s when Sirius Black brought his lips against Remus’. They were warm and soft, timid at first, but soon hungry for more. Remus, not having kissed anybody in his life, returned the kiss as best as he could. He was awkward, but Sirius made sure to guide him.
When they detached their lips, Remus realised Sirius was crying as well.
“I want you, Remus. I want you so bloody much,” Sirius whispered, grabbing Remus’ face gently. “Let me taste you.”
“Where?” was all Remus could reply. His mind was rushing with a billion thoughts.
Sirius did not reply audibly but suddenly dropped to his knees in front of Remus. He grabbed the other man’s belt and looked up at him through messy black hair. The darkness of the night cast its shadow on his features, but he was still as beautiful as ever.
“Can I?” Sirius asked.
Remus licked his lips and quickly nodded, already feeling pleasure rushing down his body and going to his groin. He had dreamed about this endless times, mostly after he reached puberty and started feeling sexual urges. But now that it was happening, he thought he perhaps had never awakened that day.
That quickly changed when Sirius undid his pants and pulled them down, leaving Remus in his boxers. He was already semi-hard, and Sirius nudged the erection with his cheek, making Remus moan softly.
“You are beautiful, Moony…”
Remus was lost in his mind as Sirius applied touches and kisses to his clothed cock. He could feel a pulse on his shaft, driving him mad, and soon a stain of precum was on the boxers.
“Please… Sirius…”
“I know. I know…” He kissed above the elastic of Remus’ boxers, feeling the hairs there tickle his nose, and then pulled the underwear down.
Remus’ cock sprang free from its confinement, hitting his lower belly and making him moan in pleasure. He was already so sensitive, and Sirius hadn’t even touched him directly.
“Merlin’s beard…” Sirius whispered in amazement, looking with wide eyes at Remus’ cock.
“What?” he asked, blushing deeply.
“You are… unbelievable.”
He didn’t say anything else as he grabbed Remus’ shaft and began slowly stroking it, using the precum as moisture. Soon enough, Remus’ knees grew weak, and he instinctively reached for Sirius’ hair, grabbing it softly.
“You can pull it,” Sirius said, looking up at Remus. “I like it.”
That made a whine leave Remus’ mouth, much to Sirius' amusement. He touched him a few more times, squeezing the leaking head at the top of his fist, before stopping and lining the head with his lips. Remus held his breath in anticipation, and, without breaking eye contact, Sirius took him inside his mouth.
Remus’ knees nearly gave in as he felt a peak of pleasure run through his spine. Sirius’ mouth was hot and wet, making his cock pulse with the need to orgasm. Not on purpose, he pulled Sirius’ hair, making him moan around the shaft.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck… Sirius… That feels so good…”
Sirius supported himself on Remus’ hips and then began going up and down on his cock, swirling his tongue with each movement. Remus was kept in a pleasurable trance, his eyes almost shut as he maintained his hand on Sirius’ hair.
He had never expected this to feel this good… Sure, he had wondered how it felt, and more times than once, he had heard the boys talk about it, but nothing could describe this feeling. He wasn’t sure if Sirius was exceptionally good at this, or if Remus simply was too touch-starved to begin with. Perhaps both.
“I…Oh… I am close…” he moaned.
He knew he was supposed to last longer, but it was a miracle he had lasted this long in the first place.
Sirius moved his head faster, saliva spilling from the corners of his mouth as he worked Remus to his orgasm.
“Ah… Fuck! Sirius!”
Remus closed his eyes as his balls drew up and cum spilled from his pulsating cock. He felt wave after wave of pleasure go through him, and much to his surprise, Sirius did not remove his mouth once.
He only did when Remus whined. It was becoming too much.
“Bloody hell…” Remus whispered, breathless.
Sirius pulled Remus’ boxers up and his pants before getting up from his knees. His hair was a mess now, and his lips were pink and glistening. Remus realised he had swallowed. That made his cock twitch.
“Kiss me,” he begged.
Sirius did without question, and Remus held him tightly. He felt a bulge poke his thigh, making him pull away.
“Do you want me to…?”
“No,” Sirius said with a soft smile. “It’s your birthday after all.”
“And?” Remus asked, blushing. “I want to.”
Sirius smirked, kissing his forehead before saying, “Perhaps later. I want to see the stars now.”
“Okay… That seems nice.”
Sirius grabbed his hand, guiding him to the tower's edge.
“Sirius, we should—”
“I know.” He looked up at the night sky, still holding Remus’ hand tightly. “We need to talk, but not right now. Let me have a moment of peace with the boy I have a crush on.”
Remus glanced at him, but he was still looking up. He felt like crying again, but he did not want to ruin the moment. So, he looked up as well, saw the faint wolf head amongst the stars, and brushed Sirius’ hand softly.
When Remus had first seen him, it was like staring at the sun. So bright and beautiful, but deadly if looked upon for too long.
But Remus was wrong. Sirius had never been deadly. He was a star. Endless and glowing eternally.
