Lifetime Collections (ID?): Dubious Decisions
Fics in which characters' actions are extrapolated in a more (deliberately) antagonistic direction than in canon (or, occasionally self-destructive).
Sometimes "what if...?" (Or AU) Scenarios, but mostly choices expanded on/extrapolated from decisions made in canon.
Everything from mildly questionable actions to outright villainy.

"Respect and obedience to a higher rank was more clear-cut and ingrained in the military culture. While Gibbs tried to carry that over into his job at NCIS, it wasn't always a smooth blend with a non-military work environment. And, he realized, his lack of awareness about this had led him to a poor response in addressing it." -

Summary
Picking up his receiver in exasperation, Len opened his mouth to greet the caller with the standard 'Homicide, Snart,' but was drowned out by the pitiful, whining voice rushing to speak.
“Oh my God, Joe, I can’t believe I let you and Iris talk me into it! I’m never listening to anything you say ever again for as long as I live, which—God—hopefully isn't much longer! I don’t think I’ve ever been this embarrassed in my entire life! I’m talking worse than that time in eleventh grade when you caught me in the backyard with Carter Cassidy! I'm never going to be able to go to that coffee shop again! God, Joe, I asked him out and he looked horrified! He thought I was only fifteen. Fifteen! I don’t look that young, do I? You know what, don’t answer that. Guys at the precinct call me ‘baby-faced Barry Allen’ behind my back and I’m not totally convinced you didn’t start it…”
Ah. Barry, the remarkable foster son West was always going on about. This should be fun.“I assure you, Barry, I most certainly did not start that nickname,”
“Uhh...you’re not Joe,”
“Correct. I’m his new partner.”
-Partners at the precinct share extensions and Len finds out just how often Joe West's children call from college.
