Tadashi never thought this moment would happen. Nobody did really. He thought that they would have so much time left. There were so many plans they made. But now, those plans have all gone downhill, straight into the trash. But what makes it even worse, is everything basically goes to shit.

It wasn’t later that he realised that his affection is more than just a crush. When Stiles realised that he was pregnant, he was confused, but ultimately, he was happy. He was happy that their baby is living healthily inside of him. But then he realised that for Derek, this baby is an annoyance that would destroy his career instead of a bringer of hope like it does to Stiles.
However, when they are forced to be together, Stiles could see that Derek is actually making an effort to make them work. Stiles make his mind up there and then. That even if they couldn’t be happily mated, at least his son would be brought to this world in comfort. At the very least, he could help Derek make peace with his families even if their own relationship will still be broken. But then Kate happened, and it broke him to pieces to realise that Derek would believe Kate over him, would choose Kate over him.
