"Really? I thought it was too light." He feels his ears fall at the reminder that the colour that brought out his purple just didn't work.
"That's cuz the white button up was too much with it, try that dress over there." He jolts, staring at Pomni. She's settled on a suit that looks like the American flag barfed all over it.
"Am I supposed to be taking advice from you right now?" He gestures at her situation before huffing lightly.
"I didn't mean to hurt your fragile masculinity, jeez." Pomni waves him off. "I just meant that the dress over there would look good on you."

"Nice party trick old man." He sneers, heat building up inside of him.
"Please, I need you're 'elp." He pulls down his hood and the scarves around his face, a patchy beard and wrinkles around his eyes. He's pale and his hands shake slightly. "You're with the league, right? You're Dabi?"

Dabi laughs in response. "Oh, I'm aware of that."
Hawks taps his foot in irritation, his fingers back in his mouth again despite his efforts. He peels a bit of skin and feels the raw skin underneath it.
"You wanna suck my dick?" Hawks chokes on a small flake of skin. Dabi looks completely unbothered.
"What?" He stares at Dabi's crouch probably very professionally.

"I'm watching." He lifts up Touya's head to look at the hallow shell of what his face once was. "I saw."
Dabi doesn't respond, eyes dull and lifeless. Hawks sobs and cradles his face. "Don't leave."
A hand touches him from behind, a hand running through his hair.
"What'ya looking at birdie?" Keigo blinks the tears out of his eyes, there's nothing on top of him. The hand rubs over his skull again. He looks up to Dabi standing over him.

They hadn’t told him, but Donnie had eyes. He could observe it. He wasn’t asking for thanks or open appreciation— he knew people only did that when they wanted something more from him or wanted to hurt him. Knowing they were content without him because of his actions was all that mattered.
(He missed praise. He missed turtle piles, and pizza weeks, and movie nights where they watched his favorites and actually engaged with them. He missed karaoke and DDR and biweekly Powerpoint nights where he deliberately picked the most moronic topic to rant about like a madman, just to revel in the sound of Leo shrieking with laughter.
And God, he missed S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N, so so much. Something had broken in him when he’d found his AI chip in the rubble, unsalvageable. Something about the grief of it all had made everything feel worthless. Even if he yearned for it—that didn’t really matter anymore, did it? It was gone.)

Summary
Donnie blinked at Leo, trying to tighten his loose grip on Leo’s wrist. He had never seen Leo so sad, the pained grimace on his face made Donnie think that his very soul was being ripped in half.
But then again, maybe it was. Because Donnie was leaving him. In the most horrible and final way that he could be leaving him. This was something Donnie could not come back from, nor stop, and it was destroying a huge part of Leo in the process.
Donnie regretted that. He’d never wanted to hurt Leo. His brother. His best friend. His better half. Because Leo had always been that. Leo might not think so, but he’d always been the better of them. Donnie had to let him know that.
He tried to open his mouth. To speak. But his body was refusing to obey him. It was strangely terrifying, yet freeing at the same time. He was feeling less and less connected to his body.
But he couldn’t go yet. Not yet. There was something he had to tell Leo first. Something he had to do.
For as long as Donnie can recall Leo has insisted they are twins, but there is no scientific data supporting Leo's claim. It just isn't possible. Is it?
