There was one glaring problem with this whole “cooking is Katsuki's love language” thing Dr. Hirai had suggested. Because if cooking for people was how Katsuki showed his love, then he'd basically been writing Izuku Midoriya love letters for years.

Eijirou goes equally silent. Shoto leans over the table, reading the matched profile upside down.
“Oh, it’s Midoriya.” he says matter-of-factly.
“What?!”
Katsuki stumbles upon Izuku’s dating profile and half-seriously swipes right on him. He doesn’t think anything of the harmless joke. Well, that is until they end up matching with each other.

“You’re talking nonsense! Are you high? Drunk?!” sighing angrily, “Did shitty hair take you drinking again?! I’m gonna fucking kill him!”
Deku seems as if he’s just now noticed he’s being held at arm’s length, and he tsks in annoyance, “Why are you keeping me away?!”
Bakugo has to scoff, “Why the fuck do you wanna come close again?!”
“‘Cause I wanna kiss you!”
In that moment, the world screeched to a halt. “You… what?”
