Summary

“Himejima-dono!” Called a servant, A young beta girl, as she treaded off the engawa and into the garden.
Gyomei glanced up from his meditation, A stray cat that liked hanging around in Gyomei’s gardens sprawled on a nearby large smooth rock by the koi pond.
“Ah. Koharu-chan. Is there something you need?” Gyomei asked quietly, His voice low as his scent drifted in the morning wind. His white unseeing eyes still as he turned to look in Koharu’s general direction.
The omega and two pups you agreed to take in have arrived!” Koharu said sweetly as Gyomei nodded. “Thank you for informing me. You may go.” Gyomei said as he got up, the cat rolling onto their back and stretching out further as Gyomei headed back inside his home, the engawa creaking under his weigh.

“I’m pregnant.” Iguro suddenly blurted.
Sanemi blinked, mulling over the words that had just been blurted out. Iguro was pregnant, and it was his?
“What.” He asked in a tone a bit harsher than he meant, looking over at the omega whose hands were trembling. And before he could say anything else, Iguro spoke.
“I’ll get rid of it,” Iguro said in a strained voice. “I understand you wouldn’t want a pup, We’re both busy and—“
“Iguro.”
“—We’re both hashiras, we don’t have time for a kid, we’re not even together—“
“Iguro.”
“—And we’re not even together, it was just a hookup for your rut, I don’t want you to think I was trying to baby trap you! I just—“
“Obanai!” Sanemi snapped. The omega blinked, looking over at Sanemi, His hands clenching into his striped haori, He’d never seen Iguro be nervous, He never saw him lose his cool or be scared, It made his brain tick in discomfort at seeing his friend so upset.
“You’re pregnant..” Sanemi murmured as he shifted to sit facing Iguro, looking down at the omega’s belly.
“I am,” Iguro said quietly, not exactly meeting Sanemi’s gaze.

Kokushibo stared him down. His expression unreadable, before his grip loosened, Dropping Kaigaku roughly onto the floor. Kaigaku gasped, heaving as his shoulders quivered, His eyes wide as he struggled to catch his breath.
He looked up at Kokushibo, the elder standing over him and looking down at him. “Master-“ He sucked in a heavy breath, Sweat rolling down his forehead and temple, “I-“ He was swiftly cut off.
“Do not give me excuses.” Kokushibo drawled. “Get on the bed.”

It felt like his whole world had been flipped upside down and mercilessly shook.
Every part of him wanted to believe Dream was lying.. He wanted to beg, plead, get down on his knees and cry for Dream to do something because Tommy didn’t want to leave!He didn’t want to be some dumb peace offering to another coven! He didn’t want to leave Dream, even as mean and cruel as he could be.

It was rarely good when Phil got called into the overseer’s office, but it was usually fewer people to handle, at least. Easier to have to please his owner and the man’s guests than to be passed around the guardhouse again, or to be used as entertainment for whatever group of miners had pleased their bosses best this week. If he navigated things carefully and was lucky, sometimes after he had done his job he got fed tidbits of fancy food—dishes made with spices, or vegetables that hadn’t been cooked to an indistinguishable pulp, or real meat—or got to sit on a cushion in a corner. When he limped into the room, it was with what passed for hope, nowadays, glowing in Phil’s chest.
There was a piglin hybrid there, a tall and muscled man with an enchanted greataxe on his back. He had scars that spoke of a life of violence across his face, and his hands on his weapons were large and blunt. He looked angry already.
“—we don’t have the funds to pay you this week,” the overseer was saying, tone unconcerned. “But we’ve come up with an alternative. The bird’s market value is worth about what we owed you, so we’ll just give it to you and call it even.”
OR: Phil is given to a new owner. He doesn't expect it to go well.

Giyuu felt the weight of his words hit him, he felt so dejected, that word didn't mean anything to him, but when Sanemi spoke it so bitterly, so harshly, that... that hurt him.

Summary
Lately, your friend has been complaining about one of his demons. He runs a small breeding business— specifically, managing the studs—, and even though you find that sort of operation far too off-putting to be interested in the details, the fragments of information pieced together over the last few months are adding up to one deeply miserable-sounding picture.
An older demon with a long history of quality offspring has been acting up— from what you’ve gathered, these behavioral issues started sometime last year, and none of your friend’s attempts at fixing them have done any good. It’s frustrating, tiresome, an unfortunate loss of profit... or so the tirade goes, every month or so you hear it repeated. And little by little, his complaints toward this unfortunate demon grow increasingly bitter.
Finally, over brunch with your small group of acquaintances, you find out that his frustration has morphed into something more conclusive.
“I’m getting rid of him,” your friend says between casual sips of his coffee, “for cheap, too. I have a replacement now, so anything’s less of a loss than keeping him around. So if anyone here is interested...”
