Summary
In 1976, Sirius and Remus are experiencing the ebbs and flows of teenage romance. Their relationship and Remus’ werewolf status are secrets only known between the Marauders. At least they thought it was. After he runs into Snape, the Slytherin threatens to tear apart Sirius’s comfortable life with Remus. In a moment of bad judgment and fear, he spills Remus’ secret, hoping to scare Snape into leaving them alone. His actions leave the Marauders shattered, and his relationship with Remus over. Several weeks later, after several days of illness that Sirius assumes is his guilt personified, Madame Pomfrey discovers exactly what is wrong with him, and the fallout is explosive.

“You know, I won’t forget it, actually,” Remus hums, turning. “I could forget it, I probably should because you asked me to, but I won’t because I do not care about your thoughts regarding this matter. I have been trying to get you to pull your head out of your ass for years now, James, oh my god –”

Summary
Cas sputters for the right words. He can’t exactly say “I thought you were disgusted with me”. Something tells him that that's not what Dean needs to hear right now.
Before he can find a suitable answer, Dean’s already speaking again.
“You won’t talk to me, you won’t be alone with me, you won’t look at me, and you looked like you’d rather get frostbite than get in the bed with me,” Dean rambles, voice getting thick and hoarse in an attempt to keep tears choked back.
TLDR: Post-canon destiel, thinking one another's feelings are unrequited when that's (predictably) not truly the case. An abandoned cabin in a blizzard, some mild hypothermia, and huddling for warmth forces them to talk it out...and let their bodies do some talking too. :)
