It all starts one night as the sweat dries and their breaths slow, Sanji slumped on Zoro’s chest. Her mind is utterly calm, empty as a cloudless day, sleep rolling in like the tide. From the depths of this calm comes a thought, and she says it without thinking.
“Is there anything special you want to try?” she says. Sanji looks up at her, chin on her sternum. “In bed,” she clarifies.
A look she doesn’t understand comes over his face. “No, I’ve never been happier,” he says, and if she didn’t know better, she’d think he’s trying to reassure her. “What we have, I couldn’t ask for more.”
The desire to sleep pulls away from her slightly. “Robin says a sense of adventure can be very useful in a relationship,” Zoro offers. “We can try things and decide we don’t like them.”Series

In which Buggy's fleet is attacked, and he has (more than) a bit of a breakdown. Spirals right into insanity, actually. Then Shanks finds him, and the great Red Haired Emperor finally get's a good nights rest after 20 years of insomnia. He also can't understand why Buggy's in the situation he's in, or how he's managed to piss so many people off. He just hopes that his crew on the Red Force will eventually learn to love the feral little convict their leader is so obsessed with.

Rosinante found a new little chamber of his heart while walking back, early fall, to the cottage he and his brother shared. The sun was slanting; it would be dark, but not very soon, so he walked slowly, careful not to spill what he’d spent all afternoon gathering.
He’d been in the woods since just after breakfast, foraging mushrooms and checking the rabbit traps that he and his brother scattered around the mountain. They hadn’t caught any, but the forage was hefty. Rosinante was trekking home with two heaping baskets of black trumpets and clusters of oysters when it happened.
Through the dense weave of ivy that crawled between trees lining the narrow footpath from the village, past the Donquixote cottage, and through the woods, he heard a voice—sharp and fearful, and worse, distressingly young. The high squeals of a panicked child peeled out from somewhere.
Or: While heading home after a long day of working the woods, Rosinante makes an unexpected acquaintance.
