Mike heard something behind him, his blood went ice cold.
“Mike” he hears softly behind him, and then he has a horrible sinking feeling because he hasn’t heard the that voice in so long and now that he has he’s worried of what it means.
He quickly turns around, giving himself whip lash in the process and the first thing his eyes settle on is long fiery hair that’s been matted and torn.

Richie let out a forced chuckle poorly masking his growing worry “Come on Ed’s doors aren’t hard to figure out” Eddie shot in a disappointed glare, inaudibly muttering something about ‘not calling him Ed’s’ but he let Richie try anyway knowing damn well that Richie is one of the physically weakest people he knows.
To absolutely no one’s surprise the door still doesn’t open, fan-fucking-tastic they were stuck, in a tiny ass closet.

Mike Wheeler is kinda getting Vecna'd and nobody notices because well the world is ending and also he's terrible with feelings so he kinda doesn't tell anyone. Will does though because I love Will Byers and I think him and Mike are just great. Little bit of Byler, lotta bit of angst. Mostly angst. Also Vecna has a plan. One that maybe even I do not know yet. (Just kidding. I do)

Summary
Will has always loved Mike’s hands.
Like the rest of him, they’re long - his fingers especially. Too many times, Will has found himself distracted by the sight of an entire soda can seeming to disappear in one of those hands. Will knows those hands, he knows the shape and angles of them - the rectangle of the palm, the web of tissue between the base of the fingers, the half-ovals of his nails, the knobs of the knuckles, the delicate pull of a tendon standing out in his wrist when he flexes a certain way. The barely-there dusting of hairs across the backs. The pink blush of fingertips, distinct from the freckled cream tones of palm and wrist, touched by a tan in the summer months. That one specific freckle just at the base of his thumb. Will’s sketchbooks are frequented by likenesses of Mike’s hands, his fingers.
It doesn’t help that he knows what those fingers can do.
But Will doesn’t just love Mike’s hands because they happen to be very skilled at getting him off. No, he loved them far before that. Before any of that. And he still does, simply by merit of their being part of Mike.

He'd been having nightmares since the day Will went missing, and headaches and even nosebleeds were symptoms of sleep deprivation and stress, both of which weren't exactly uncommon occurrences in his life. He hadn't heard any clock, and he thinks he'd know if he'd been hunted by a monster from another dimension - probably.
But Mike was also not a complete idiot - usually - and he was good at recognising patterns.Most damming of all, all of this had stopped practically the second he left Hawkins.
