Summary
Minho has no true intentions to take his own life. He'd welcome death with open arms if it were to come to him, but he'd never do it himself. Partially because contrary to what picture he tries to paint of himself, he's a coward. No one knows what happens after dying and his life isn't miserable enough—for now that is—to take the risk.
But it's a nice reminder that the option always stands, no matter where he is or what he's done.
Like a plan B or a Joker card of some sort. An ultimate solution to any possible predicament. It's just that—well, it's permanent.“You're not planning to jump, are you?”
An unfamiliar voice cuts off Minho's line of thoughts, startling him.OR

"What did you just say?" Minho froze in place, his eyes locked on the blond figure before him. In three long strides, he crossed the distance between them, the ground vanishing beneath his feet. He grasped the creature gently by the shoulders
"Did you just say my name? Say it again" Startled by the sudden outburst, the alien recoiled, fear flickering in his eyes. His retreat forced Minho back two steps, as if the distance between them was meant to remain.
Or: what happens when two creatures from different worlds meet and fall in love, but cannot coexist on the same planet?

“I think I’m sick, hyung,” Minho whispered—Chan walked ahead, and gently rubbed Minho’s knuckles, going over the boxing scars as he did. “I don’t know what’s going on.”
“Try telling me.”
Minho exhaled sharply, taking a few moments to articulate what he wanted to say mentally. “It’s like… I feel so unenthusiastic about everything? I don’t know what’s happening—my metabolism has died and I don’t feel the taste of food in my mouth anymore. I—I’m trying not to exaggerate but everything feels so slow and agonizing. I can’t sleep and I can’t stay awake. I feel so… disassociated.”

“Yeah,” Hyunjin supplied.
“Eventually the activity of the server died down and this man had to create a separate group for us and we thus became close.” Minho patted Hyunjin's arm with his elbow.
There it was, the crick in Chan’s eyebrow. As if he suspected something was out of place.
