Its optical units recognized colors in the sky in addition to gray. Light and faint tones between pink and dark blue were also present.
His processors informed him that apparently the color aesthetic could represent the "afternoon" in the garden...Although it felt darker than anything else, almost melancholic.

the idea of being totally powerless and vulnerable in a place devoid of any source of light terrified him from a very young age, for years he imagined that he would find himself in such a place...cold and alone.
he hated the idea that something could be watching him in the pitch black of darkness, but he couldn't see anything.
but at least...he had someone to turn to when he found himself in the midst of his nightmares, his mere need seemed to be enough to ward off any and all needs of monsters that crept into the darkness.

The rain comes quickly.
The earth begins to wash.
Drops in tune.
And the wind was calm
It even seems to tell me that the world is not...The rain has always been there for them.
So much anguish, so much happiness, and maybe in a neutral place, maybe a thunderstorm full of lightning before a quiet rain that was yet to come.
So much for Connor, For Kara and Markus.
These stories in this series can be read separately, there is really no connection between them.
follow the story of how the rain could be present in the lives of the three deviants when they didn't even notice, either in the worst moments, or in the best.

Summary
For one, fleeting, beautiful moment, Caine feels powerful.
He's large and angry and holding his disgusting, hateful humans down against the wall, and screaming at them to understand; to comprehend why they would torment him like this. He's in charge, and they're trembling under his fingers and, with the sickly joy that's filling his avatar, he's feeling something other than his own overwhelming failure of an existence for a hot burning moment.
He shouldn't be feeling anything at all.
But - the next moment - he's small, stuttering out the beginnings of an apology or a plea and they're looking up at him with confused terror and he's looking down at them with scared eyes and that slimy glee in his hitbox curdles to shame because he was broken.
And then he's back in his box.
His box that his programmers had locked him in years ago.--
What if deleting Caine didn't put him in the recycling bin, but instead his prison from before the circus?
