Akutagawa and Atsushi met each other in one of their college classes and grew a close bond, Akutagawa's friend group, Chuuya, Higuchi, Tachihara, Kajii and Akutagawa's sister Gin could see that Akutagawa was growing close with Atsushi, meanwhile Atsushi's friend group Kunikida, Ranpo, Poe, Yosano, Dazai and Kyoka could also see the spark between Atsushi and Akutagawa as well.
