Summary
A year and a half after the battle with Diva. So many months after sealing the Quantum Cube in Kaiba’s labs. Yugi feels more than a bit lost and restless. The grief is still raw. The Shadows are supposed to be locked to all but a few, until Yugi stumbles upon a new source of Shadow Magic by chance. Two brothers hold the Magic, their key to survival. And as he raises them, the question stands; could more of the next generation hold their Magic as well?
Something is stirring. Old magic is beginning anew. The Millennium Items are seemingly lost, so when some begin to reappear, along with a new threat, maybe Yugi can't handle it alone.

Den City was supposed to be an escape for Yuma.
It wasn't his fault his heart hurt whenever he looked at his friends, at places important to them, at the Key around his neck. It wasn't his fault he felt so alone when half of his soul was far away in another World. It wasn't anyone's fault but a god dead for almost four years now. He wasn't running away. But when Kaito gave him a chance to leave for a while and heal, Yuma jumped at it like the lifeline it was.
It came with a string attached, but Yuma didn't care. He could handle meeting a new roommate, maybe even a new friend! Or two.
At least this bot wasn't going to call him dumb. Instead, they scolded him for calling himself that.But when Link Vrains, and a certain monster, catch his eye, is Den City really the break Yuma thought it would be?
Not abandoned, just on hiatus while I cement where this fic is going.

What he was still learning, were Barian Customs. It seemed as if he learned a new one every week, and the Barrians all assumed he had learned the one major thing from someone else: Crystal Sharing.
Kaito is determined to find out just what that custom and ritual is all about. And each Barian has their own way of showing him just what it means, and how it makes them a family.

Orphaned at a young age and joining the Academia at just 5 years old alongside Alexis Rhodes, Aster Phoenix, and Grace and Gloria Tyler. The cohort faces challenges both external and internal as things continue to get rough through pre-canon, canon, and post-canon.

“No,” Luuk whispered, feeling every single of his senses vibrate in response to Rover. His skin baked in his warmth that he was close enough to feel. His nostrils flared to take in his scent that was not familiar, not the old bite of disinfectant, latex gloves, and chemicals. His eyes were glued to the outline of his profile. And his tongue smacked against his palate when it recalled the familiar taste - always coffee. Rover had drunk more coffee than anyone else he knew, himself included, and that was an impressive but also concerning record.
Luuk waited until he could see the glimmer of gold, Rover’s irises darting to him, then he finally willed his lips to form the words like a sculptor carved marble:
