Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.

Izuku Midorya had always wanted to be a hero. Even when the world beat him down, he had learned to stand back up. But over time, after watching your heroes fail you again and again, the title of hero took on another meaning. He may not have had a quirk, but he knew he could be a hero, even if it was as a detective.
He hadn't meant to become a vigilante, honestly. It just...happened. But he had quickly learned the law could only get him so far. Almost overnight, the vigilante Cheshire became a name to be feared by the corrupt and praised by the innocent who fell through the cracks of society. Izuku, or Cheshire, finally found a place in the world to belong and he would never be knocked down again.

Quirked into a cat a heavily injured Touya is found by Aizawa on patrol who does his best to save him and brings him to a vet. This is not the last time the two will see each other as the vet discovers that Touya is probably not a cat. Nedzu has to get involved and shenanigans ensue.

“You don’t want to make him the King of the Pirates?” He repeated, astonished.
“Nah, he’s not gonna be the King.”
To Marco, it seemed that Ace didn’t see the problem while making that statement in front of the crew.
“Why?” Izou choked.
“Because my older brother is gonna be King of the Pirate.” Ace replied with a proud smile.
That was the first time they heard of an older brother. They didn't ask further.
