Dennis Whitaker is born some 15ish years later with birthmarks on his wrists as if someone tied something around his wrists too tightly. he meanders his way through life until the universe brings him to The Pitt where he meets Trinity Santos on his very first day, and all those memories come back.
In which Dennis is Steve and Santos is Robin, where Steve and Robin get a second chance at life some years down the line after they've both died due to the upside down. Featuring Dennis blooming relationship with Dr. Robby.

“I’ve never seen this kid before. How'd he slip past security?"
"This is Peter Parker Stark, your son. You adopted him."
“I adopted some random kid?”
Peter’s breath hitches and his shoulders fall. He wants to press his face into Happy’s back and cry. “Not some random kid,” Happy says, voice hard. “Your kid. Peter.”
OR
Tony spent five years mourning Peter after he'd been snapped. He'd invented time travel to bring him back, almost died, had risked everything for him. When Peter is snapped back to life, he can't believe that the Starks actually want him to be part of their family. He spends six months doubting it. He's finally starting to believe that they want and love him when he wakes up one morning and comes out of his room to find that Tony and Pepper don't remember him at all, even though everyone else does.

Sweat beads along Dennis’s forehead, drips down his neck, coats his underarms in a thin sheen. Like saliva coats the mouth before vomiting.
His stomach lurches with nausea, his hands tremble. He forces himself to stay standing.
“Whitaker,” comes Donahue’s voice, gentle, cautious. “You should take a minute, man. Get something to drink.” It’s just them in the cubicle, and he can hear chaos beyond the curtains, but he can’t bring himself to move.

The plan was, at its core, very stupid.
Kris could deal with that. They were a young adult with very little impulse control, reeling from a period of time where they had scant control over anything in their life without putting in tremendous effort, with a best friend that only encouraged those impulses. In the time following…well, the world almost ending, they had gone through with many very stupid, very impulsive plans.
But, standing in front of a huge dormitory building, with nothing but the determination to right all wrongs, they were beginning to realize just how stupid this was.

He feels like his stomach is rising, not sinking, it feels like he’s dropping off the highest crest of the Indiana state fair’s shittiest rollercoaster. And suddenly his head feels fuzzy which bleeds slowly into an uncomfortable pressure in his skull. And Steve’s not so confused anymore. He’s just scared.
