Neil Josten knows he's safe. He hasn't had to run since he enlisted the help of his Uncle Stuart to get rid of his father. Unfortunately, old habits die hard. Neil created a new, virtual identity for himself under the alias GhostCore. With a loud mouth and reputation for playing solo, it was only a matter of time before the world came together to prove him wrong.
It was an accident when his classmates found out he played. Visiting their guild was meant to be a one time thing. Sticking around and finding his place in the world was not part of the deal.

“Marriage.”
Stuart stared warily at Neil, sensing the danger in his voice
“You wish for me,” Neil snarled softly, “to seek marriage.”
It was not a question– rather a damning finger of accusation pointed at his uncle.
“Yes,” Stuart said slowly.
“Why.” Neil demanded sharply, sprawled in an armchair with deceptive casualty, his hands gripping the armrests as one might imagine a defensive cat would.

OR: Neil is on the run from his father's men, and has been for his entire life. Except now, the Stuart crime family has allied with him, after saving him from his father and killing him in the aftermath, and Neil is much more powerful and dangerous than he has been before. The Moriyama family, however, still wants him, and Neil must go to drastic measures in order to gain his freedom.
OR: I put Neil in that one AU where Character A has to be married soon, but will only marry someone who can befriend their "cat". Character B befriends the "cat" and Character A, and the two are married. After some angst, of course.
