He's gone to extreme lengths to ensure that no one would ever speak those names in the same sentence. So when the Justice League proposes that they share their secret identities with each other, Bruce can't help but wonder how their opinions of him would change if they knew who he was outside the mask. Most importantly, what would Superman think?

“OH!” Clark flushed as he hastily pulled out the Daily Planet business card, then scrawled his name and phone number on the back.

Snippets of a time when Bruce Wayne and Superman's relationship gets outed to the public, and the half-dozen kidnappings that follow as a result. Oh, and nobody thinks Bruce Wayne is good enough for him, and Clark would really like everybody to stop thinking that, please.
If Bruce could just take this seriously, Clark's heart could make it to the end of the month. Except that by the end of the month, Bruce has been kidnapped again, and this time Clark has no idea where he is.

Summary
Listen, Bruce Wayne was great at the whole secret identity thing. Or he had been until all the Robins started popping up. There's only so many coincidences that the people of Gotham can ignore until it clicks. And when child after child started popping up in Wayne manor, and a matching child popped out from Batman's cape, there was no denying it anymore. So yes, Gotham knew that Batman was Brucie, who was also Bruce Wayne. But if the only thing that kept that man sane was dressing up in a bat costume and protecting the city then who were they to stop him?
And so the game began. Everyone knew Batman's identity (except the black haired, blue eyed kids although even that backfired eventually) and Gotham would do everything to protect Bruce from the knowledge that yes, the entire city did actually know what he got up to in his free time.
Shenanigans ensue.

The Justice League are in the middle of training lead by the main three. Batman got paired with Green Arrow due to both being non-metas, Batman, the king he is, gets Green Arrow pinned to the ground in record time, using his body weight to keep GA down by sitting on his chest/waist area and holding his arms in a position that locks them from moving too much. Green Arrow, amiss the feeling of frustration and embarrassment from loosing so quickly gets hits with a vague feeling of familiarity...
Green Arrow knows this feeling-
He knows this position... intimately
Featuring classic Oliver and Bruce being friends from diapers cuz of rich people circles, and them having got busy during boarding school onwards and Oliver realizing Batmans identity from him straddling his waist, (which he's done more times that normal friends should)

Summary
In a deviation from expectations, Clark and Bruce meet for the first time not as Superman and Batman, and not as reporter and billionaire business owner, but as some version of themselves somewhere in the middle of all their respective identities.
Clark nods, pushes his glasses back into place, smiles. It's sweet. It's comfortable. Bruce feels a sense of peace — there's no need to rush this. He steals one last kiss, then walks back to his car.
He remembers to text Clark later, when he's back at the manor and before patrol, letting him know he made it home safe and wishing him a good night.
He sees Clark again, unplanned, unexpected, Saturday night.

After the Rift, Clark keeps moving. He's a bit lonely, a bit less trusted than he was before, a bit optimistic about a budding new friendship - relationship? He's determined not to mess things up, but he will. Things never work out just right. Meanwhile, Bruce throws caution to the wind and lets someone in for a change. He thinks it's fine, until he makes eye contact with him from across the room and feels the cool knife of betrayal slide between his ribs. It only gets more complicated from there.
