There were a lot of reasons for Hadley to leave Zuzu City — her dead-end job, her shit-hole apartment, and the rising cost of everything. But her failed engagement was the last straw that had her finally pulling out the envelope her grandfather left her. She’d known for years that it included the deed for his old farm, but finally breaking the seal and pulling it out filled her chest with a deep ache. A note with her grandfather’s familiar handwriting fell out with it.

Hadley had snorted reading that. It was like her grandfather had predicted that one day she’d wake up and find her life in shambles and need a way out.

“Was it like… a flashback? To the fight?” Mira asked.
“The fight?” She asked, looking at Mira.
“The Idol Awards, fighting with Gwi-Ma, or you know. Any part of it.”
The implication laid heavy in the room, because of course Mira was talking about the three of them behind the stage. Divided. Scared.
“I don't know, maybe,” She shrugged, trying to shake the night from her head. It wasn’t that big of a deal, not enough to be having flashbacks, or panic attacks, or whatever.
It could have been the fight with Gwi-Ma, probably, definitely was.

Mira's eyes were back on Zoey, finding a near petrified expression. She was starting to put the pieces together but needed a confirmation. Slowly, she turned back to Rumi and hesitantly asked, "Zoey?"
Sure enough, Rumi was the one who responded, "Yeah?" finally glancing up to look between the other two women.
Mira finally understood what was going on. "Oh shit."
OR Rumi and Zoey switch bodies and have to deal with everything that entails.
