Summary
treeeater and aphroditesfavson ( afs, in short ) are unlikely internet friends, after treeeater is recommended as an illustrator for certain poems. afs is not at all looking to add art to his random poems or drabbles, but the guy is nice.
the moment he stood at the base of that tree, evan figured the nice thing to do would be to warn his internet persona's following that he wouldn't be posting, — which, looking back, was actually really horrible to do to his fans. after failing his attempt, however, it might have been a major error on his part to forget to reassure them once he failed.

Summary
There’s a beat of hesitation, but Evan lets go of the red metal and looks headlong into the ground awaiting him.
All is calm, and he takes a step.
“What the fuck.” The stillness of the night is shattered to pieces, and Evan scrambles desperately to take hold of the bridge again. The loss of the silence brings about the loss of control, and within moments he’s hyperventilating, hands sweating and heart racing.
Evan glances over his shoulder and in the darkness can make out a slight, tall figure standing at the very edge of the treeline.
“I-I’m sorry?” Evan chances in response, eyes on the person as they step forward.
And, well. Of all the people he expected to see tonight, Connor Murphy was not one of them.

Summary
It’s senior year, and Evan is being made to try out a new mode of therapy, Theatre Group Therapy, to be precise. He loathes the idea, but his mother insists he give it a shot, for at least three sessions.
It’s all because of that dumb letter he wrote to his therapist, which he just barely managed to get back from Connor Murphy on the first day of school. Dr. Sherman highly recommended an ‘additional intervention’, due to the worrying sentiment and the fact that even with standard therapy and medication, Evan’s still a social train wreck in slow motion. His own words, not his therapist’s.
On first day of the dreaded group therapy, Evan realizes that Connor Murphy also happens to be in attendance. He’s not sure if it’s comforting to see a familiar face, or not, but he quickly finds out that anything he thought he knew about Connor is dead wrong, because apparently Connor loves musicals and is actually sort of excited to be there, which Evan can’t begin to comprehend.
But, Evan sticks by Connor the first day, if only because he is the only person Evan knows, and it seems okay. He still doesn’t want to continue, but, maybe there could be something to this group therapy thing... if he survives it, anyway.

Summary
Connor felt like he was on a precipice.
He tried explaining it to Dr. Reeves, but he knew he couldn’t get the words to come out right. It was like suddenly everything was possible. And that should have been exhilarating, and it was, but it was also terrifying. Because Connor was good at screwing things up. He was good at pushing away the people he loved and throwing away everything that’s ever been handed to him.
And now he had everything; he had Evan. Evan, who gave him friends and his family and a future. All at once. Everything he never allowed himself to dream could actually be his. Now it was.
