“You aren't, it's just …” he trailed off.
“Am I intimidating?” She interrupted, her lips grazing his. The warmth was so enticing. Her thumb rubbed circles in his flushed cheek. Every touch was gentle, heavy, and tender. It was like she was afraid she'd break him, maybe she was. Compared to her, Mike was glass.
Mike hesitated, then told her softly. “In more ways than one …”
