Summary
A space bridge accident strands both Optimus Prime and Starscream on an unknown planet, filled with mechanical monsters. Once Starscream decides that immediately stabbing Optimus in the back is a bad idea, the two form an uneasy alliance. Just until they can get off this hostile world.
But cooperation breeds grudging appreciation (and even more grudging attraction). Each uncovered secret on this mystery world brings them closer to returning to endless war. Can they keep fighting as if nothing has changed? Or will they take the chance for something new?
Assuming the planet doesn’t deactivate them first.

Summary
Megatron seems to be rather relaxed, opting for a less balanced stance. Of course, he is also turning his back on his oldest enemy. Well, his ex-enemy, if labels were to be technical and accurate. Megatron turns around, the shower coolant already switched to a warmer lubricant mixture, kicking up steam as it patters against the shower floor. Optimus catches his glowing red optics. He remembers that often in the chaos of abstract art, there was a focal point for the mind to rest. He holds onto red amidst the greys, silvers, muted dust brown and metal filings.
Megatron: Optimus’ unintentional, haphazard artwork – clobbered together from punched metal, hurt ego and Optimus’ own hopes and dreams. A breath catches in Optimus’ throat.
‘Let me help you.’
Megatron cocks a brow. A slight crease in his optic — did humans call that crow’s feet? — and a wry smile breaks through the storm clouding his face.
