Kim Seungmin, in his wordless weirdness stomps towards Minho’s bedside with eyes focused somewhere he isn’t. He crouches down eye-level with the flame on the burning candle sitting on his table, snuffs it out, and promptly leaves with the gentle click of a closing door.
“Yah, are you still there?”
“Sorry, the dog came in and blew my candle”
“...Am I interrupting something? Is that why you can’t finish the story?”
“Huh?” Minho could hear the wicked curl of Changbin’s lips from the other end of the line. Wait–
“Fuck, not that candle. What the fuck.“
The power is out. Minho is bored in the heat of hell. He calls Changbin and wishes he didn't.

She denies any implication with reddening ears. “They didn’t have a heater.”
“You wanted me to bathe you,” he insists.
“Where’s my towel?” she deflects. Minho trudges on to the bathroom like the warrior she is– chin up, shoulders back, and limping.
Seungmin smiles stupid. That’s good enough for him, down bad as he is. He follows her to the bathroom. Also limping.
Minho comes back from her MMA tournament. Seungmin starts to pray.
