Mike came up behind him, arms sliding around Will’s waist as he rested his chin on his head. “What’d you get?”
Unwrapping the package revealed a small, cheap-looking stone lamp, the kind of thing you would see in a souvenir shop. A tag dangled from it with handwritten text: "Makes your wish come true!"
Will laughed, turning it over in his hands before showing it to Mike. "Yeah, right."
"What would you wish for anyway?" Mike asked, pressing a kiss to Will’s temple.
Will leaned back into Mike’s embrace, feeling safe and happy. He looked at the lamp, then at Mike, then back again, a playful thought forming.
“Hmm…” He pretended to think hard, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “The only thing that could make me happier than one Mike Wheeler… would be two.”
POOF!Or: What if Will got to spend his birthday being destroyed by two Mike Wheelers.
