The path is covered in leaves. There are weird stains under the leaflitter. It crunches under her feet. She climbs up the hill, calling her name.
She finds her lying on her mother’s grave. There’s blood on her feet, on her legs, on her arms, on her hands.
There’s a rusty-red handprint on her mother’s headstone, the little vase knocked on its side. The flower, a purple hyacinth, looks withered, its petals stained red and broken.
There’s so much blood. Her heart lurches in her chest and a scream tears itself from her throat.
“CELINE!!!”
Or: the one where I explore the aftermath of the Awards with a bit more angst for Celine, cause while she's not the psycho-monster this fandom makes her out to be, she fucked up big time and I want to fuck her up a bit.

Three pairs of brown eyes exchanged glances before meeting the cashier's, who watched them with wide eyes and a slightly open mouth.
Without a second thought, Mira reached for her phone with her free hand and texted the only person who could get them out of such an awkward and problematic situation.
