The smile on Wei Wuxian’s face is so gentle, so comforting as he answered in a whisper. “A-Yuan, you foolish child, how could I let you suffer?” He shakily lift his hand and gently cupped Sizhui’s cheek, his eyes drooping. Sizhui held the hand to his cheek as if it’s the most precious thing he ever held “A-Yuan, how could I not?”
