"I'm so into you, I can barely breathe."
I blushed as he sang to me softly, looking down as I tightened my arms around his neck.
"I love you so much." I told quietly.
"I love you too." He whispered.
I sighed, tucking my face into his neck as I breathed in his scent. I tightened my arms around him, feeling him repeat the gesture around my waist. Tears welled up in my eyes and I sighed, trying to keep myself together the best I could while trying to slow dance in the sand. I wanted this moment to last forever, but I knew I would ruin it within the next five minutes if I ever got the guts to say it.

I sniffled, pulling my knees up to my chest loosely to rest my chin. Sighing heavily, I ignored the water continuing to flow down my face and cringed at the regret swarming my gut. Regret for letting my best friend's peer pressure get to me. Regret for being my awkward anti-social self. Regret for lying to my mother. Regret for taking that first sip that lead to many more.
"I didn't know this would happen, Jay." Parker whispered, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. "Honestly. I didn't-"
"Expect me to give my virginity to Alex fucking Gaskarth?" I whimpered, looking over to my shaking hands.
"Do you want me to get Cass? Or Lynn?" He asked softly, running his hand up and down my arm soothingly.
I sighed, leaning back into the cold bathtub behind me. I tightened my forearms over my knees, staring ahead into the white cupboards under the bathroom sink through my blurred vision. Slumping, I nodded my head lightly.
"I'll be right back." He promised, kissing the top of my head as he jumped to his feet. "Everything's going to be okay."

He could see himself from the hips up. Messy brown hair going in three different directions at once, eyelids still heavy with sleep, shoulders slumped forward with the kind of lazy posture his mom had been trying to correct since middle school. He looked like someone who had just been dragged out of a very comfortable dream.
But that wasn't the part that bothered him.
Because underneath all of that, underneath the mess of it, there was something else sitting in his reflection that he couldn't ignore no matter how many times he tried. His hazel eyes were too bright, his lashes too long, his skin too clear, too warm, too glowing. The moles scattered across his face and neck and collarbones that he'd been self conscious about as a kid had somehow become another thing that made him look exactly like what he was. Soft. Pretty. Luminous in a way that had nothing to do with good genes and everything to do with designation.
Omega skin. Everyone always said it like it was a compliment.
Will had never once taken it as one.
