Mirion’s heart thudded in her chest as a new realization settled over her like a cloak of cold iron. “My mother is a… what?”
Melian’s expression softened, her voice gentle but full of a deep, unfathomable sadness. “Perhaps there are consequences after all for one of the Ainur to marry the Firstborn if you have no idea who your mother is. I wonder what it is… Tell me, dear child, what do you want?”
The question struck Mirion like a bolt of lightning. She had thought she knew what she wanted—power, the Silmaril, the ability to rewrite the past. But in the presence of Melian, whose wisdom seemed to encompass the very essence of the world, Mirion found herself grasping for an answer that eluded her.

Mirion turned back to Elwing, who now stood pale and silent. “Admit it, Elwing,” she said quietly. “You would rather fall apart than face the truth. The truth that your trauma, your grudge, and your obsession blinded you. You chose the Silmaril over your children, just as you accuse my family especially my grandfather of doing.”
Without waiting for a response, Mirion took Nerdanel’s arm and guided her away from the square. As they walked, Nerdanel looked at her granddaughter with a mixture of pride and concern.

She nodded, her gaze never wavering. “For you, I would. For you, I will.”

Eru Ilúvatar once thought he foresaw his creation. But when falling sorceresses from another universe arrive in the world of Eä, a dark Ainu breaks out from the Void and another obtains one of the most dangerous relics - it would seem fate seemed to be off tangent.
As for Illyria Strange, almost 3 years have passed since the closing of the portal and her patience is running thin. Working with Darcy Lewis and a British Engineering Professor to find a solution, she longs for the new life she forged with a certain elf and family beyond reality. But then there are falling elves with silmarils, hidden reincarnated elves and the End of Arda somehow pop out of the blue. She realised now this is not worth the dissertation.
Dagor Dagorath has arrived: and Illyria might need more than a lightsaber-styled staff, a bunch of dramatic Finwëans and a hobbit to defeat Melkor and Sauron...before they destroy Reality itself.
