“Here, give me your hands,” he says quickly, already holding his own out toward Will. “I’ll warm them.” He looks at Will a second too intensely, like this matters far more than it should. Robin snorts quietly.
“Oh, thanks Mike,” Will says, flustered. “I’m okay, but maybe—” he fumbles with his coat pockets, distracted, searching for something, finally pulling out a pair of blue gloves. “You might need these. You can have mine.”

Summary
It's weird to think about, but you've probably got a better understanding of how the human body works than how your own does. Your body makes the most sense to you when you're using it to form concrete shapes: Hikaru's appearance; the heart that pumps the blush over your cheeks and nose; the lungs that hold the breath that carries your voice; the xiphoid process that you broke and gave away. You don't need any of them to live — sometimes you forget to create them, and sometimes you choose not to — but each is a vessel for understanding and a vessel through which you're understood.
But really, you're a swirling mass of something. A wound inflicted upon you closes because you want it to. You could sink to the bottom of the ocean and the pressure of its depths would crush you before you could convince yourself to drown; even then, you would exist.
If you mix a little bit, it makes sense that you could reach in and fix Yoshiki, too.
Or: Hikaru deduces a quick way to help Yoshiki sober up.
Note added 10/27/25: This fic is not abandoned! I'm still working on it I'm just busy. It will be done by the end of the year.

He doesn't even give Tyrell the chance to speak before he's grabbing him by the lapels of his overpriced suit, pulling him inside, kicking the door closed, and slamming him against it. The force of it causes Elliot’s hoodie to fall from his head.
Elliot hears the surprised grunt of pain Tyrell releases and marvels in it. A bit of discomfort is the least he deserves for what he’s put him through these last 12 hours.
