This is a Black Phone Fanfic AU based off of the fanfic, "Make The Most of Your Life While it is Right (While it is rife)" By: starsthatlinethesky on AO3 (I'm pretty sure that titles mostly correct). It's most commonly known as the "Fix-it AU". Basically, in this au, Finney wasn't able to get away from the grabber at the end of the story and ended up being stuck in his basement for three years. When he's found he goes through the struggle of dealing with his PTSD. His friends help him in any way they can and so does his sister.

Summary
After the battle with the Red Death, Hiccup tries to go about his normal everyday routines but is constantly plagued by flashbacks and nightmares about the incident. Stubborn like his father, Hiccup refuses to acknowledge his feelings of trauma and instead decides to just brush them off. However, it's not done so easily and everyone in the village has noticed a drastic change in his demeanor and attitude. His friends try to get him to talk about it to relieve some of his stress but he refuses. This act of stubbornness threatens to push everyone he loves away because he's unable to find a way to cope with how he actually feels and talk about it with the people he's closest to.

This fic started as a project to help me work through my trauma, but after I got a little tipsy and decided to post it on TikTok a lot of people wanted to read this fic. I hope this finds someone who will enjoy reading as much as I will enjoy writing, but due to how close to home the abuse aspect is, it might be a while between chapters. But I promise I won't abandon it, and will still post as regularly as I can. This fic is too important for me to just abandon 🤗 Y'all just might have to bear with me.

Summary
College was supposed to be a fresh start. The Party is scattered across nearby campuses, close enough to pretend nothing has changed. Will is finally happy or at least trying to be with his new boyfriend, Carlton. Mike tells himself he doesn’t care. He tells himself a lot of things.
Between shared houses, crowded college parties, and a friend group that never really learned how to separate, they keep falling into familiar patterns: late nights, quiet check-ins, and Mike noticing things he probably shouldn’t anymore. Everything Mike thought he understood about himself starts to unravel. Some realizations come too late. Some feelings refuse to stay buried.
And some feelings don’t fade just because you pretend they have.

Summary
Silence. Hungry, carnivorous—or maybe cavernous, vast and lined with teeth, ready to bite. The quiet before the storm, the gasped breath in before the heart stops. Tragedy tastes bitter. Blood tastes like pennies. Both are in the air, promises coating the tongue. Something bad is about to happen.
From beneath the bed, something reaches out—a mass of darkness, a shapeless nothing—and it grabs Mike by the wrist, yanks him forward. Mike chokes on a yelp and flails his arm free, blood dripping from where the shadows grabbed him, like the touch of darkness has split him open. He tries to scramble away, unfolds his legs to kick himself back but only makes himself easier, more vulnerable. The unidentifiable mass encircles Mike's ankle, and he screams something agonized, terrified—and then it pulls Mike, clawing at the carpet with his bloodied fingers, under the bed.
This time, the silence isn't hungry. It's satisfied.
will starts entering the mindscape in his dreams on the same night that mike gets taken by vecna. this is probably the least confusing part of everything that happens after.
