"I promise it will hurt less if you give in, little Hero." The woman said as she approached with the glittering chain in her delicate hands. "You won't have to grieve anymore."
Link wasn't sure what she meant, but it didn't sound that bad. The goddess had only ever used him for his talents, this would be no different, and if they were telling the truth… he wouldn't have to care so much. He wanted to forget.
The chain was fastened around his neck, and Link closed his eyes as chanting filled the air around him. He was tired.

Summary
His tools were set out before him in a perfect line. Concealer to hide his facial scars, dark circles, and beauty marks, eyeliner to bring out his eyes, contour to sharpen his cheekbones, rouge to make him look more alive, and a balm for his lips so they wouldn't grow chapped as fast. One never knew when a portal would appear after all, and he couldn't risk ending up in his home area unpresentable. Many things were expected of him back home, including beauty worth going to war for. The people liked to think that at least they fought and died and suffered for something flawless. They could never know how pathetic he truly was, it would start a mob racing for pitchforks and torches.
He dealt with enough assassination attempts as it was.
Or
Warriors does his morning routine and thinks about why he feels the need to do any of it in the first place, the affect the war had on him, and his life in general. Legend doesn't see why *his* mirror shield is necessary for this process.

"What are you doing?" He got up the nerve to ask as Legend put his pan over the fire and started to use a knife from under his pillow to chop the apples into cubes.
"What does it look like I'm doing?"
"Um, cooking something."
"See you aren't a complete dimwit, good for you."
Legend's tone was especially caustic, Sky would've been a lot more offended if it weren't for the deep shadows underneath the man's eyes. He looked awful.Or
Sky has the middle watch, and for some reason Legend has decided that the middle of the night is the perfect time to cook.

Summary
Just Legend doing random everyday tasks and having conversations with other members of the chain. Things get a bit character studyish but I keep them short and a bit bittersweet if anything. These don't need to be read in a specific order. I'll add more as I get ideas.
The series title refers to how Legend feels about himself in these fics, that he is too far gone. That he doesn’t know how to be a regular person anymore.

Summary
Twins are an omen of bad luck.
Link can’t recall when, exactly, he was told this fact. Maybe he was never even told, the whispered superstition something he figured out on his own from overhearing the castle’s servants. Either way, the idea is something he carries with him in his earliest memories.
How unfortunate, then, that the first thing he usually recalls from childhood is looking into the mirror and finding Zelda.

It doesn’t matter. He has to go faster.

OR... Legend is cornered by the soldiers of his world, and the 8 strange travelers they have recruited to help chase him down.
Misunderstandings, unwilling rescue missions, ridiculous names (what kind of a name is 'Warriors'?) and protective Links ensue.
