Akane, Sonia and Hajime have the despair disease. In order to make the sickness go away some one has to die. Nobody wants to die but the one and only Hajime hinata who has the despair disease that makes him suicidal. Komaeda keeps an eye on him making sure that one day he doesn't go into Hajimes room and a body discovery alert goes off. No matter how hard Komaeda tried Hajime found a way to make the discovery alert go off. Not of someone else's life he took, but his own.

Hajime walked into the kitchen, eyes barely open as he fumbled with the coffee maker. It took him a second to notice that Kazuichi was sitting right next to it.
"... why are you on the counter?" He asked wearily.
"Dude, the floor is lava, get up here!" Kazuichi said urgently.
"... no. Cause I'm not five." Hajime went back to making coffee.
"The prize is first pick of the snacks when the supply ship comes in!"
