This was stupid. It’s just a storm.
Anakin flinched and hid under the covers as thunder clapped, surrounding himself with the warmth of his own breaths as the wind grew stronger. He was sure his jolt of fear had escaped into the force and longed to go back and shield better, but Obi-Wan was probably asleep anyway. Right?
Anakin was proved wrong when he heard the creek of a door down the hallway.

“I can’t say I’m surprised” Obi-Wan’s voice said back. Ahsoka felt a gentle squeeze on her shoulder that couldn’t be from Anakin, since his arms were wrapped around her waist and back. “Zygerria was a mess”
“What isn’t a mess in this war?” Anakin replied, pressing his cheek against one of Ahsoka’s montrals.

When Ahsoka ventures into her Master’s room for comfort after Zygerria, she finds two Masters instead of one. She doesn’t complain, she’s never complain about falling asleep beside her brothers.

Summary
If Anakin were to recount his life by age, it would go exactly as follows: he was born, then he was nine for a minute, then he turned twenty. There was no in between. Not without making his head go all tingly and his senses turn fuzzy.
Digging around in memories only ever prompted fade-to-blacks, and, if it was a particularly sensitive memory—a cut-to-black. Both saw Anakin thrown into the amnesia-inducing depths of void before he could even blink twice.
All the more reason to never think about that cursed planet ever again. He already lost enough time as it was.

Summary
